It works as a great method to get my little grandson to eat more of healthier things. I do find it a little annoying to assemble and use. I would like to have one with a larger capacity to hold more. I often have to refill a few times and don’t like that part. But it is a good little idea.

More of a Toy Than a Self-Feeder
The EZ Squee-Z Silicone Self-Feeding Baby Food Dispenser is really only useful in keeping a baby occupied.It is difficult to take apart and requires quite a bit of force to be able to squeeze the food up and out of it.It became more of a toy than a self-feeder.

The ONLY way my son will eat purées
Since my son decided around 8 months old that he was not going to let a spoon anywhere near his mouth (except as a teether), we have tried MANY baby feeding products to try to get some purée down on days where BLW wasn’t happening and all finger foods ended up on the floor. This little self feeder has been a lifesaver. The top somehow keeps the purée contained about 90% of the time (no, it’s not perfectly spill proof, but surprisingly mess resistant), and my son enjoys feeding himself with it. As other reviewers mentioned, the size is small and it can be a pain to refill, but I also think the small size is part of what makes it appealing to little hands. We have tried larger reusable pouches and various other feeders with minimal success, this is by far our favorite and most successful self feeding tool.

So many pieces to clean and as a mom with not a lot of time and lots of dishes already wish that part could be different. Great start with purees wish i bought sooner. Teaches baby to independently feed them selves. Just bought another one as a gift for a baby starting purees.
