Sooo much better than tennis balls!!
These things are awesome! Not only do they work exactly as described but they make your walker look cool! : ) Reasonably priced, durable, fit almost all walkers. They keep prompting me to make a comment on “noise level” for this review. It seems stupid but maybe not. They glide and slide and are not noisy.

My mom needed replacement skids for her walker, so I got these for her. They were easy to replace and she really liked how they worked on carpet. They worked well outside but would ware out pretty quick if used on ashfalt or concrete very often. My Mom’s assisted living facility was all carpet, so they were great for her. I’d say thy are priced fairly and they lasted through multiple doctors visits and other trips away from her facility. I know she used them for about a year before she no longer needed her walker and they still had a lot of miles left.

Post hip replacement – These are GREAT. Helps with smoother movement and not getting hung up on carpet lips, rugs doorway transitions etc… They slide very well. Fit my Medline larger walker with out any issues.

These didn’t fit my own walker, so I gave them to a friend who has the traditional grey metal walker, and who lives in a nursing home. She was positively ecstatic about them!!! She said it was so nice to be able to use her walker so easily indoors and outdoors without those horrible tennis balls. Now everyone in her nursing home wants them and is planning to order them. I kept a pair for myself because I will be having a hip replacement and will use them on the traditional walker that I’m anticipating having to use. I have a light weight walker that uses glides that are at a different angle. Glides are wonderful – I’ve used them in the house, at the beach, in the snow, on cement, on grass – they’re wonderful!
