I ordered these shoes 1 year ago and I can say that today is the day I retire the pair and order another. Now maybe to some, 1 year is not that long but to me that’s amazing. I am very ruff with my boots but once a month I will clean them off to keep them looking nice. From the moment I wake up I put them on. I where boots and shoes in my house and honestly I don’t like feeling the floor on my feet. I ride a motorcycle so the toe area usually is the first to go because of the metal shifter but it held up fine. I also have a dead leg sometimes and drag my feet. The weak point of the shoe that finally gave out was the inner and outer sides of the boot. Either the glue or the stitching finally came apart. I have 3 young boys so a boot that keeps my feet comfortable while playing and holding up to the abuse is important for me. Sometime while changing a diaper i even put my foot under me and sit on it, still holds strong. I have wide feet so i got the wide boot and its one of the best. I’ve tried other boots/shoe that claim its wide but in reality its not. Now with this boot seriously protect my foot in a bike crash…Probably not but it would do better then a shoe or a timberland. I highly recommend this boot and hope if you buy it, it give you the same enjoyable experience i had. Thank you for reading and i hope you have a great day. ✌️

Great Leather Boots
I’m a security guard and I got these boots to traverse some rocky terrain for a post I’m on. Great for anyone who needs military style boots with good solid tread for grip.

Definitely looks good, but, not as promised or as good as advertised……….
So, they look like the orginal tactical boot created by Magnum which is the main appeal and very cool looking and on discount so very awesome in that regard, buuuuuuut…………absolutely uncomfortable despite being the right size and despite inserting new insoles since the factory standard insoles cause friction somehow no matter how snugly You lace them. Arch support or support in general is practically nonexistent and the outsoles are very heavy yet somehow gives very easily, the laces suck, plus, I did not receive extra laces and even if I had the laces are EXTREMELY abrasive to Your hands and fingers once snugging them up. I have worn all kinds and brands of Tactical and Combat Boots in My prior professions such as Bates, Rothko (the old stuff that ACTUALLY worked) and even 5.11 Tactical, even had some very generic brands I’ve tried that were much more comfortable, supportive and lightweight and still durable than these, no wonder Nortiv 8 sold these on discount THEY ARE NOT WHAT I PAYED FOR. Bad thing being I bought these as a cool assumed comfortable and functional boot for My birthday yesterday, they arrived two days prior to that, after wearing and trying them out on various terrain and even hiking I am immensely disappointed. My feet are very healthy and I am an very outgoing Hiker and Outdoorsman when not on-site and this was a terrible letdown, bad thing is, I’m stuck with them as it would cost me to return them even if it’s SUPPOSED to be “free” returns (been there before, no thanks to the Idiots and non-helpful Individuals working alleged “Customer Service”) so I guess I’ll simply wear them for yardwork, don’t recommend, I highly doubt that Nortiv 8 even cares or would respond to this despite seeing several reviews indicating Their solid Customer Service, never once ever had a good experience or been able to return anything thanks to Amazon fouling anything up. In short, looks great, initially feels great but is not what I payed for, wanted or needed.

Easy break-in.
I’ve put 35 miles on these; 30 in the city and 5 in backcountry.So far so good – I am curious to see how they respond if I apply some waterproofing.I will buy another pair of these boots.

Good looking boots (Grey color), Narrow fit (a wide size would be a better fit) – wore them brand new for 43 hours straight on international flights. The side zip made it so much easier to remove & fit boots for security checks. Lightweight but seems tough. The narrow bridge did however hurt my feet after some hours of sitting. Walking was comfortable – spent many hours walking & standing but forgot that I was wearing brand new boots. The soles do however seem a little thin which makes me concerned about the expected lifetime. Can recommend, good buy for the price.

Just arrived today but inital impressions are very good. The zipper and velcro are good quality and the ankle support feels good. They are true to size and good width. I am a size 13 UK (14 US) and have wide feet. I ordered Size 13 UK and Wide fitment
