Sturdy and Fun Ball Blaster for Active Dogs

The first one broke after many months of daily use—the rubber band inside that creates tension for shooting eventually snapped, likely due to daily wear and tear. Compared to other ball launchers I’ve tried, this one is the sturdiest, with thicker plastic that holds up well to frequent use. Good for exercising an Aussie
We have an Aussie and we throw the tennis ball about 80 to 100 times per day with this gadget. Works great and they last from anywhere between 5,000 and 7,000 throws (roughly 2 to 3 Months) I really doubt that they were designed for this amount of use. They break eventually, but I just buy another or our Aussie would never forgive us.

I use mine almost every day when I get home from work. My dog and I love it. The problem is, it only lasts me 2-3 months. Great product but the rubber bands don’t last long. I would of given it 5 stars.

Very poor quality brakes right after the last day to return it
Once again, this product broke on me. I end up buying about two of these a year, but the last two have broken very quickly. It’s just ridiculous. How poorly they are now being made. My return window apparently ran out two weeks ago, of course. My dog loves to play fetch and I can’t throw it as far as this throws the ball. Very disappointing.

For me the size of the gun is perfect. It easily slides back and locks in and shoots out the tennis balls. My dogs loved it and even shoots out eggs and other items that are fun. The only down side I had was that every time you shoot it, you have to bring the slide back up to slide it back to shoot it again.

Our dog loves to catch tennis balls. This launcher shoots tennis balls far and saves my arm from getting tired. The best thing for me is you don’t have to touch the ball to load it because you simply pick it up using the end of the launcher tube. Great value.

NOT “safe for hands”
When it works, it’s great. Dogs love it, launches far. However it is extremely difficult to trigger, almost to the point where I thought it just didn’t work at all. I have pull sooooo hard, my finger gets stuck between the plastic and gets pinched every time. It’s not fun, and there doesn’t seem to be a way around it. Not sure if it’s a defective item or just a poorly made item. Would not recommend.

Having tried many different permutations of the tennis ball blaster on the market, I can say quite assuredly that the Nerf brand is the best on the market for quality and reliability. The blaster shoots standard tennis balls a reasonable distance and the pick up of the ball is very easy, thereby minimising strain of the user’s arm. Our dog loves this gadget and gets very excited at the prospect of chasing after the launched balls. Many a happy hour is spent with this unit, indeed. I can positively recommend this blaster for quality and longevity.
