    Great quality and taste!
I like the quality of this product. It mixes well in my smoothies and I know I am getting good nutrition with it. The flavor is not overwhelming, but perfect. I feel the value is good. I would definitely purchase this again (and I have), along with other Navitas Organic products.

    Slightly sweet, pure quality Acai
I loved this product . I make my own Acai bowls and freeze them for a refreshing treat on hot days. The taste is great when paired with a bit of almond milk. Dissolves easily with a slight sweet taste. Not bitter tasting and dissolves easily when mixed. A bit pricey, but superb quality. I like this brand overall for the quality. The smell is quite pleasant and you can tell right away that the Acai powder is good quality and fresh.

    Noticeable Benefits this far!
I’ve only been taking this poduct for coming up on 2 weeks but already I noticed some results. I feel much more energetic; less lathargic. My constipation has ceased….*smiles*… Taking this has restored a natural rhythm for me and it’s easier to go when I do go. My significant other says that I look slimmer– now I don’t know if that’s a direct Navitas effect OR if the energy I get from it is just giving my workout endurance a boost, but I could care less so long as I’m seeing and feeling the results! I haven’t changed my diet any, just added navitas and went back to the gym. In the past “diet” seasons, I usually get tired pretty fast before I reach the peak of my workout so I am convinced that the Acai powder is what’s pushing me thru. Now as for the taste; I agree that it is similar to what most acai powder users are saying– it looks like fresh ground coffee; smells like old tea leaves; tastes like dirt. Unless you’re brave enough to pull a Rocky “drink the raw eggs and get your tough guy/gal on”, I wouldn’t recommend the “spoon in the mouthful and chase it with water” option– believe me the water will not wash it down fast enough for your comfort.I’ve found that the most successful options for me have been to mix a teaspoon into your favorite yogurt/smoothie or stir a heaping teaspoon into a tall glass of cranberry juice (or some other strong tasting juice). It is true when mixing it into thin liquids that some DOES stick to the glass, but when that amount is compared to the amount I put in, I know I’ve ingested most of it. I just drink fast and keep stirring between gulps. Whatever the mix, you’ll probably experience a hint of “prune” taste but not so much if you balance it right. After a little while of getting used to and discipline to stay on the routine, I found that it’s not so bad and overall the benefits (and knowing you are doing something great for your body) makes enduring a little odd taste very worth it.Seems to be a good value for the money; one bag looks like it will go a long way consuming one teaspoon a day.

Buy it for the taste and nutrition and not for the “superfood” reputation.
Seriously if there’s a plague on the food industry today it’s all of these products claiming to have weight loss, anti-cancerous, and other benefits and Acai berry products are on the top of the list. Don’t expect to shed a billion pounds or be cured of cancer by eating this stuff (especially since Acai berry is high in calories for a fruit). Companies on the forefront of the “superfood” craze are Navitas Naturals, Sunfoods (or something like that), and dozens of others. Ironically, despite criticizing Navitas’s marketing they have a great product. I’ve tried many Acai berry products and this one got me hooked. Not only that but it’s reasonably priced compared to other products. The taste is just what Acai should taste like: blueberries – sugar + 100% dark chocolate and not water like many purees, enough sugar to start a space program, bottom line legitimate Acai Berry. However, buy this product if you like the taste of Acai berry not for the preposterous health claims about the fruit since the bottom line to health is a balanced diet (although if you’re a Paleo idiot this is the fruit for you!). Side note, Acai berries contain a stimulant called Theobromine, it’s weaker than caffeine and although I don’t know how much is in Acai berry it’s a heck of a lot less than dark chocolate. Still, if you’re sensitive to it then stay away and probably don’t snack on the berry right before bedtime (unless if chocolate knocks you out then go for it). Also, like I said before the berry is pretty high in calories rounding to either 15-40 calories per tablespoon (Navitas can’t make up their minds in regards to calorie content some bags say 15 others say 40) very low in carbs and sugar (good for diabetics), high in fiber (not as much as raspberries, blackberries, chokecherries, etc.) high in fats maybe including omega 3s (although it’s nothing compared to Hemp, Soy, Chia, or Flax), one of the highest antioxidant fruits (but not THE highest), and so on. I legitimately like the taste, so I buy it and not for the ridiculous health claims. Overall better than most products since it’s just plain whole Acai berry and for the final time buy for the taste and nutrition and not just for the preposterous health claims.

    Great acai powder
I’ve tried some pretty bland, questionable acai powders, but Navitas is great quality. I like to make acai bowls using the Sambazon packs, but add in a tablespoon or two of this powder for more intense acai flavor. I’ve never tried with just this powder though…I feel like I’d end up using half the bag.

Very nice. I use it to make my own acai bowls. I use the recipe on the bag and it’s very tasty. I save a lot of money making my own acai bowls and they taste exactly like the ones you get a pricier health food stores/ smoothie bars.It blends nicely and is not gritty at all.

  12. Received this item locked and I can not open with it’s factory default combination. I purchased this hoping to use it for my short trip. There is also no manual that can guide me for troubleshooting

I love this product. My son’s favourite is Acai and this has been perfect for an almost daily enjoyable snack/ meal.
