Delicious and Nutritious
I have been drinking this protein powder (dissolved in soy milk with a tablespoon of flax oil added) for years. It tastes great, not chalky at all like some other similar drinks. It provides lots of vitamins and minerals; I highly recommend drinking this on a regular basis.

I used this for several years and then stopped due to the flavor changing. Decided to look into it again and noticed a previous reviewer mentioned that the taste was closer to the original one. They were correct. So glad I took and chance! Love this after a hike or for breakfast when in a rush.

I’m someone who exercises frequently and takes care of their body, but I’ll be the first to admit I have a HORRENDOUS diet. I just seem to love and or crave the taste of foods filled with sugar and fat, and I’m certain I’m not alone. Thank goodness for this product! Now, I can make a tasty chocolate shake in the morning that essentially works as a multivitamin! I just mix a scoop of my spiru-tein, about half a tablespoon of instantized coffee, either half a scoop of platinum hydrowhey or cocoa mix (depending on which one I have at the time), and voila! A super nutritious drink that will keep me full and get my metabolism going for the day! I would note that the spiru-tein powder should be mixed with something else low cal that’s chocolate flavored because it’s incredibly mild in terms of chocolate taste. Also note that I use a mini blender to mix all these ingredients. This is a necessity, because the spiru-tein isn’t easy to mix as it claims. It’s not really the taste of the powder that makes it phenomenal, it’s the nutritious value and the flexibility it has in mixing with other chocolate powders or whatever you’d prefer to create a drink that actually tastes good for how many vitamins it contains. For the people who have had other chocolate protein powders, keep in mind this does not taste as sweet or as starkly chocolate. The smell is not sweet or chocolately either, to me it was almost fishy smelling, but I don’t have a strong sense of smell so this had zero effect on my perception of the drink and the taste. In general, for anyone who would like to improve their health, I’d certainly recommend this product.

Formula back to almost the original
It’s not the original but many products are not original today but some are improved. I’m glad to see it is back to “almost” the original. I used Spirutein for many years and very much enjoyed the flavor and the results. It has great nutrients that help keep the body healthy and assist with weight loss or weight maintenance. I felt great when taking it. It curbed my appetite and gave me great “natural” energy and assisted with digestion and many other things. Best of all, it felt like drinking a chocolate milk shake – my favorite. Of course nothing healthy will taste like the real shake you get at an ice cream shop, but some people add fruits and things to make it taste like it. I prefer to take it straight with a cup of 2% milk for less caloric content. And I didn’t worry about getting my nutrients while watching the calories! Then in about 2015 or so it seemed the product kept changing and not for the better. At first I thought it was spoiled! I couldn’t even stand to drink it and after many failed pleas to return to the original, I stopped using it and buying it. After reading some current reviews that the taste was great again, I decided to give it another try and am very happy to see it has much improved. As I wrote, I don’t know if it could ever go back to the “original” but it is satisfying and I am already feeling the benefits in just a few days. I sometimes like to divide it in 1/2 scoop and take it twice a day depending on the type of day. It is a great breakfast or before or after workout. I don’t buy the other flavors so can’t vouch for them. Thanks Spirutein.

Has a lite chocolate flavor
Chocolate flavor taste like a lite chocolate flavor, I would like a better chocolate flavor, I mixed it with 8 ounces of water it was very thick so I tried 10 ounces of water and was not as thick but lost more flavor with more water. I’m not sure if it curves your appetite I haven’t notice it, however that’s not why I tried this shake. if it had more of a Chocolate flavor I would buy it again

I used this years ago as well. Not as mixable in coffee as I would like (leaves a grainy taste too) but still excellent to mix into milk or greek yogurt for a fun, healthy dessert!!
