Easy to swallow, no burps
These “mini’s” are about the size of a regular gel capsule vitamin. If you’ve never taken fish oil before, you may or not be aware that most of the time, fish oil pills are HUGE. So these are definitely a more manageable size.I was a little surprised when I first opened the bottle – the odor was not fishy but what hit me first was that it was sort of a ‘chemical’ smell. That’s when I looked closer and saw they are supposed to be “lemon” flavored and that’s what I was smelling. (For me, “lemon” reminds me of a cleaning product.) Once I realized what it was, I was okay with it.I have an old back injury that flares up sometimes. I already take a joint supplement. I was looking for something additional to help. Since I began taking these, I haven’t had an achy back flareup. So far so good, it seems to helping inflammation.————————————————–Edited to add Jan 2025: I got lax about taking these but started up again a couple weeks ago to try to help dry itchy winter skin. I realized that I think they are helping keep away the winter blues, too. Omega’s are good for brain health, especially perhaps for people who eat plant-based. Decided to add some Omega 3’s back in and tried this product. Only taking 1 a day, not 2. The supplement is a little longer than I expected, but no problems swallowing it. Despite it being burpless I did notice a slight fishy aftertaste. Product is OK and price is good, but doubt I’ll order it again.
