Simple device that is indispensable for CPAP users
I’ve been using CPAP for a couple of years now, and it has dramatically improved the quality and duration of my sleep. However, in the last couple of months I have developed a bit of sensitivity to the neoprene in the elastic face-mask strap, right where it presses against my cheek. I had thought of wrapping it in gauze or some thin cotton fabric, but then found this product on Amazon.It is exactly what I needed. Each piece has two sides: A smooth satin side; and a soft fleece side. Regardless of which side you use, a full-length velcro strip holds the cover in place.Personally, I find the soft fleece side more comfortable, so that’s the side I use. And it has eliminated that discomfort from my skin sensitivity. I can adjust my straps to firmly hold the mask in place, but no irritation is encountered overnight. Just pleasant dreams.The third strap is designed to go around the top part of a ResMed Airfit frame. While I do not use it now, I do periodically shave my head and, should I go that route again, I am sure I will need that protection for my exposed pate.I am very pleased with this product, as it has solved the only problem I have encountered with my CPAP unit. Highly recommend!

Disappointed
I’m disappointed because I only received the strap covers for the back of the mask. I needed the covers for the side straps.I do like the strap I received, it just isn’t what I needed .

SMOOTHER THAN FLEECE
I used these covers the first day they arrived. When installing them I found out they are a little too oversized for the mask frame, that’s the reason for the 4 rating. As far as comfort I give them a 5 rating. They are very smooth and you don’t even realize you are wearing them during the night. I would recommend these covers for anybody who wears a CPAP at night. I have yet to wash these so I can’t speak to that but I think just a quick hand wash and then let them completely dry before using. YES I would get these again when needed.
