Really great toy!
Very cute and sound is not at all annoying. My dog loves this because he can get it to play the tune himself. I was worried about how it would hold up with its skinny legs and arms because Cody loves to play tug-a-war but 3 months later it is still in great shape, no tears or chew marks, and the battery is going strong. Highly recommend this toy and I have tried them all.

This will be the strangest review you read about this product. I got this when I had two bonded Shih Tzus. Neither of them picked it up as a favorite toy. I was the only one that seemed amused and after it accidentally went through the wash, the mechanical apparatus inside seemed to fail and I couldn’t get it to make any sounds. However, shortly after my older female Shih Tzu Ginger died, this toy became central to a unique after life experience that I usually only share with pet owners.I typically have stuffed dog toys strewn around my tiny apartment and one night I heard a sound and realized that it was the fish toy making bubble sounds. I thought that was very strange and put the toy in a plastic bag with other unused toys in a corner. Very shortly after I could hear the bubble sounds again. I thought perhaps the toy had slipped down among the other toys and that had caused the toy to activate. I moved the toy to a high shelf on my wall – where it continued to make bubble sounds periodically day after day. At this point I was associating what seemed like paranormal activity with my beautiful Shih Tzu Ginger. On the year anniversary of her death the fish made bubble sounds every several hours for 24 hours. By this time I had moved the toy from shelf to shelf and it made no difference and the sounds continued for another year. They never scared me – they only made me smile and think of my beautiful little dog who had been a rescue dog and then a therapy dog after I adopted her. The bubble sounds usually came at random times but not always. When I brought my last rescue dog home, a small Minipin Chihuahua mix that started chasing my cats, there was an explosion of bubbles from the fish toy, as if Ginger was highly excited.The bubble sounds ceased about six months ago. likely because the inner workings of the toy finally failed. I have finally decided to try an experiment and order another one to see if the activity will transfer to the new toy. I will keep you posted.

Best Dog Toys!
I used to buy these talking pets at a local grocery store but they’ve discontinued them. My Akita is obsessed with these! He is so gentle with them, licks them like they are his babies, and carries them around with him. I really do believe that they are his companions and not just a toy. They are almost like a calming agent.The quality is great!I will say though, if you have a dog that rips toys to shreds this is the type of toy that you need to be present for because of the batteries.Luckily my dog treats these talking pets like his friends and not foe.

My dog goes crazy
I have a Labrador retriever. So far it is standing up well. I will say that my doesn’t chew up his toys. He is very gentle with it. I play with it with hem and then immediately put it out of reach. If he looks like he’s starting to bite hard, I put it away. One thing I wish they did was have it make different sounds. The point is to be cautious.All it does is moo the exact same moo sounds. At least have different moo sounds or maybe a ringing cow bell. Something.

Not the quality of other toys I’ve bought from them
I have bought other toys from this brand and they have been great. This cow however was horrible. I got like three moo noises out of it and it died. The black spots on the white cow are just spray painted on there and not actually the color of the fabric. And it seems to be bleeding into the fur. Like I said I’ve had good luck with other toys like Mr Bill, Woody woodpecker, the monkey, the shark. But this one is nowhere near that quality.

This is funny, the “MOOO” is very deep and funny.Quality is great. I wouldn’t recommend to larger dogs or dogs that destroy toys. The moo sounds comes in a little box in the stuffed cow. Wouldn’t want anything to happen.
