Impressive and Useful Gadget
Having a dog and two cats, everything, and I mean everything, is always (and I mean always) covered in hair. They don’t even shed all that much, they’re all short-haired, but still, the hair is everywhere. When I sent for this, I thought maybe it would be a sticky roller pad, like the lint rollers that we keep around for our good clothes, but this is much better.It’s big, and it comes with a nice handle that you have to screw on yourself. It sticks out at a 90 degree angle from the roller, which makes it easy to roll over large surfaces. We tried it out immediately on the living room couch. Like magic, it was picking up hair from places where we didn’t even know that any shedding had gone on. It picked up a ton of discarded fur from surfaces that had recently been vacuumed with our Dyson. We wouldn’t have thought that there was any hair left there, but there was and this thing picked it up.When done, we opened the case on the back of the roller, and all the hair was there, where it could easily be plucked out and thrown away. With as great as this thing works, you might wonder why the four-star rating instead of five. Well, the instructions said to use the “small brush” in order to clean the hair out of the roller. The instructions even showed a picture of it. We dug through the box and the wrapping and … no little brush. Either it didn’t really come with one, or my order just happened to be missing its brush. Other than that, this pet fur picker-upper is great!

This MoonRoller, Pet Hair Removal Tool with Detachable Handle and Cleaning Scraper really over performed. I was not expecting something so simple to work so well.I have a dark colored bedspread and two light-colored cats. You can probably tell where this is going. Needless to say, there are times when the amount of hair that builds up on the bedspread is mind blowing–despite regular brushing and de-shedding combs. And these are not long haired cats.I was at my wits end and decided to give this a try. There is a slight learning curve to figure out how to get the most out of it for your effort. Bonus that it can also double as a lint roller in a pinch.Very pleased with this and I feel it’s a great price for this product.

Hmm, had much higher hopes for this lint roller. It certainly feels and looks like a high-end product. I really like the the way the handle is conveniently inside the item and it is made of quality material. However, when using it for lint/hair removal, I didn’t feel it worked well at all. I’m not understanding the squeegee blade running right down the middle of the fabric material, while the directions say to roll back and forth? Did not work well for me. Actually, pretty sure I saw some of the roller fabric come off adding to the lint already there. I don’t know – hard to think it’s user error when there’s not really any way to screw up the use of this item. Is there?

Easy to use and clean. Really gets up the pet fur!
Took me awhile to get used to how it works (short back and forth strokes across the surface) but once I did, I was amazed at how much hair it got up. Unknowing, I used it on a few of the fabrics it’s not recommended for and it did get up the fur. Worked as well as the sticky rollers without the inconvenience.It works best on fabric surfaces that are held firmly in place. It can be used on loose fabrics, but not with ease, due to the back and forth motion. Where it really shines is when a quick clean up is needed for carpeting, furniture. car seats, etc. Fast, easy to use and easy to hide out of the way. Will fit in any drawer or glove compartment easily. The fur it collects is easy to clean out of the area where it’s contained by utilizing the tool that fits in the end of the handle. A really well thought out and well made product. Definitely worth the money.

The Mercedes of hair removal tools
We have 12 cats and having 12 cats means having a ton of hair. They all like to come up on the bed with us to watch TV before we go to sleep, so I clean the coverlet every night. I’ve had other tools that were just like this but they weren’t as well made and sturdy. This one holds a lot of hair and it whisks it right off of just about anything. I’ve done upholstery with it, my clothes, a rug… In each case it cleans the hair right up with one pass and holds it inside. The handle is sturdy, large enough to be comfortable, and it contains a cleaning tool. This is my one and only complaint. The cleaning tool simply slides into the end of the handle and while I’m cleaning off the bed, the tool works its way out, making everything awkward. Once it even pinched my hand. So, I just take it out at the start now and there’s no problem. I would 100% recommend this one to a friend.

This is a very user-friendly product. It arrived in a box that was moderately damaged on the bottom end, but otherwise would have been appropriate to use if the product were intended as a gift. Once the end of the box is flipped open, there is a cardboard tab that says, “Pull”. So I did, and that caused the contents of the box to slide out easily. The Instructions are a bit repetitive, but adequately clear. The product itself feels so solid and weighty that at that point I thought there must have been some kind of error, and the weight must be due to included batteries. No, it’s just that solid. To begin using this roller-style cleaner, I first extracted the handle from its chamber inside the roller, and then screwed the handle into position. Then I selected a nearby sofa cushion. I have just one cat now, but she is totally black (well, with a few grey hairs beginning to show here and there), and as a result, her shed hairs are always very visible on a lighter background. This cushion didn’t really look too bad, but I followed the Instructions, and rolled the device back and forth on the surface of the cushion. After just a few swipes, I was surprised at how much cleaner the cushion looked. I was even more surprised when I opened the hair chamber on the roller, and saw the quantity of black cat hairs, crumbs, and some other, unidentified matter. The base of the handle stores a part that the Instructions label as a “brush”, while the product page describes it as a “cleaning scraper” I think it looks more like a miniature spatula. In any case, I dragged it around the inside of the hair chamber, and the hair and other stuff immediately stuck to its surface, easy for me to tap into the garbage container. With the MoonRoller now clean again, I disassembled it, and packed it up as it was on arrival. The box and the inner plastic casing are sturdy enough that I should be able to continue to store the roller that way between uses, and keep it clean, with all pieces neatly together. I have had other devices for picking up pet hair, and they all worked to some degree. This product, in my opinion, works better than any of the others. It is effective, easy to use, easy to clean, easy to store, and it needs no batteries. I consider this to be a very good product.

This compact little cleaner is the most amazing item I have ever purchased from Amazon! I still cannot stop having a sneaky “go” with this gadget. It works!! I have a Shihtzu which I always thought was a breed which doesn’t moult, not true, the under coat leaves an amount of undercoat on carpets which other vacuums have not in my experience solved the problem. I even resorted to using a clothes brush – hard work. Now this hair remover works like nothing else! Gathering up all traces of hair easily and quickly. The amount of fur collected was unbelievable! So easy to use and to empty! 100% accurate review – buy one.

I’ve had a cheaper version of things like this before, and both of them work well. This one certainly feels like it has a much sturdier build. It comes in really nice packaging as well.Overall, it does what it says it does – roll it back and forth on the surface area you’re wanting to use it on, then open up the back and pull the hair out. There’s not much more to it, really. We don’t bother with sticky lint rollers anymore – we just use these things. They work great and they’re reusable.For $30 (at the time of writing), I think this is a reasonable deal based purely on the fact it feels sturdy and seems to be made really well. The instructions are actually in proper / understandable English as well, which is always a big plus!
