Fun and simple
We’ve got a diversity of ages so this game seemed a good fit. Easy for my 4 year old to learn and enjoy – not so much my 3 year old (he wanted to throw all the pieces around). It’s too easy for my 9 year old, so still a little challenging for a family with diverse ages. But a good start to learning monopoly. And the Mario characters were fun and relatable.

Best Toddler Game using Math
We love playing monopoly but my younger kids struggled with counting large bills. As soon as a saw this version I knew I had to get it! My 4 year old and 5 year old love playing this version because they feel independent playing. Instead of money bills like the original game there are gold coins. There are also character coins instead of houses to help them keep track of their properties they have purchased. The dice comes with a regular die and a coin/shell die. If they land on the coin they get to press the coin button to allow them to get free coins from the bank. If they land on the shell they get nothing. There is a Time Out area rather than a Jail Cell. And they collect coins every time you pass the Go spot. Great Christmas gift to learn counting, addition and subtraction for the little ones.

4 year old loves Mario and adores playing this game!
My 4 yo grandson is advanced for his age. He loves all things Mario and loves playing this game with me. Even more fun if his Mama plays with us! I’m impressed with this kid’s version of Monopoly. I did not know what to expect when I bought it. Very simplified but still Monopoly. The coin sound system is perfect and fun. When you roll you might get a coin picture, if so, you get to push the coin machine and you will hear one, two, or three coin sounds which means you get that many coins for your stash. It’s wonderful that it doesn’t go on and on and on like the real Monopoly. When all the properties have been sold, the game ends and whoever has the most coins wins.
