Check fold around leg before tightening & Tighten well
IT STAYS ON as long as you wrap it right and tight and make sure to rub around after so it sticks well. I’ve wasted a couple on the first day because I didn’t know how tight and how to wrap around foot leg area, probably didn’t check the fold before I tightened.PROTECTS AND VENTILATED / Not for outside- they sell seperate wraps to cover these booties seperately. I can’t rate the wraps because he does not need to go outside.Just so you know It’s inside out may help if you have small fingers or someone with small fingers to help you flip it.Only cons for me is that it’s a bit expensive, only wish they could make it alittle more affordable, as I change it up to 2 times a day to keep his wound clean and to check on his wound

Helped my dogs paw
These worked great to keep my dog from licking her paw after she cut it.

Decent Protection, Tricky Application
The adhesive paw bandage served its purpose adequately for my dog’s cut. While it adhered well and provided protection, the application process was a bit tricky, and it didn’t stay on as securely as I hoped. It served as a temporary solution, but there might be better alternatives for more persistent use.

Good protection for minor issues
Purchased these for my dog who injured his toe. Were a little snug to get on but fit the paw well, kept it protected inside. Not for outside use unless you have a small dog who doesn’t run around. I have a black Lab and he is active-so only inside for him. Easy to change and kept him from licking the bad toe.

Easier than Coban/gauze but still gets destroyed
Love the concept but doesn’t withstand reality. My 70 lb lab wears a size large but that size is extremely hard to find. Purchased XL but had to return it because it’s way too big. Don’t understand why the manufacturer makes the customer turn the mitts inside out before application other than they don’t want to be responsible for the mitts tearing during that process which frequently happens especially with the smaller sizes. Much more convenient than wrapping a paw with gauze and Coban while being much more breathable and easier for the dog to walk if the size is correct. My dog still managed to chew her way out of these from the sides while the adhesive strip stays intact. Does not last and can’t reuse day after day. Not made for outside. Gets dirty and wet/damp depending upon the weather so either you need a protective wrap or you remove and reapply. Too expensive. Thought 12 would last me 12 days but boy was I wrong cause they either rip when you attempt to turn them inside out or the dog chews them off the paw if you don’t use a cone. Reminds me of the material used in packaging breakable fragile items.

Quality item.
Hate that these were needed, but they are a game changer for injured paw pads. Had to put a little sock over it, but it worked great

Expensive But Work
This works great for covering up a wrapped paw from surgery. It adds another layer of protection. It is easy to put on except that you have to turn it inside out which is not the easiest. They are quite expensive, but you can’t find anything like this in the local stores.I have updated this review as my dog got her staples out and continued to lick the not completely healed wound. When I just used a wrap, she would take it off. When I used this sock type bandage, she does not try to take it off. Probably because it fits tight at the top and it must be comfortable and sturdy that she doesn’t bite thru it to get it off. So, I recommend this as great for surgery wounds or to prevent the dog from licking and biting at their paw.

Expensive – Look Promising – Failed to Deliver
I’m a nurse – should have known better. Anyone who has had a dog with paw issues that requires bandaging/protecting (especially small dogs, active pooches & puppies) know the frustration of creating a covering with gauze, socks, nonstick pads and elastoplast is quite a feat! These are so overpriced for what you get, but if they work & size is right – it would be worth it. My 11lb pom needed to wear bandage covering on BOTH back paws to let her pads heal & to keep ointment on paws. She got them both off first time. 2nd time trying them, she jumped up on bed and the “non-slip” slipped & she hurt herself. She won’t use steps up to bed. I have hardwood floors and she had trouble walking in these ‘catcher mitt’ type paw covering. I had to start adding tape to keep them on. I added small piece of velcro on bottom to help grip. It stuck alright – to all the wrong things. Added grips on the bottom which helped a little. It was taking too long to put these on with my additions, and she would have them off or half off by morning. Half off was more concerning because I knew she could slip when running/jumping. Unless you have a very sedentary dog, or just need one paw covered – these are disappointing especially for the price.
