I bought this because my hair has been thinning and heard about biotin stimulating hair growth. My hair does seem to be recovering a bit, although I’m not sure if it is due to this hair gel or the biotin shampoo I’ve been using. Regardless, it does the job of styling my hair, although I’m not fond much of the smell.

I have tried many many thickening products and some were quite expensive. This is the cheapest and best I could find. I have seen this product in the stores marketed as a conditioner and thickening cream. It’s not the same. I have lots of hair but it’s fine. I NEVER use conditioner on my hair as I find that’s a no-no for fine hair so I apply this thickening cream to my towel-dried damp hair and then use a hair dryer to style and work up the volume. I finish with a hairspray.
