HONEST REVIEW!!!
This is one of the best investments I’ve done in a while. I’ve used a Walmart trimmer that I bought for $40 for the last year and a half, and it gave out on me. Here I am in Mar/22/2022, and I bought this and I can say I don’t regret it one bit. Costed quite a bit more compared to the $40, but it didn’t disappoint. If I had to compare to my old one, this is an upgrade for sure. Great product in my opinion. Here are some pro’s and con’s, but the con’s aren’t even that bad.Pro’s:Easy to useClean cutsSafe protection on sensitive areasLong battery life with cordless charging dockLED lights to help hard to see placesCons:Not much trimmers to work withTakes a while to clean out hair, little brushes doesn’t do muchNOTE: This is from my own personal experience, but I see a lot of reviews saying, “This doesn’t protect my genitals” or “This product is a lie! It nicks me every time!”. While I cannot speak for them, I will say that if you use it improperly, yes it will, but while I was being safe and careful, I started to have more confidence after how many times I thought I would nick it, just like I would with my old razor. Finished in half the time I would with my old one. This product DOES protect the sensitive areas, but if used improperly, then of course it’s gonna happen. I say look up your own info on how to protect yourself, but I can confidently say that this product lives up to its name. Definitely worth it. Hope this helps anybody for an honest review!

UPDATE: I retrieve what I said previously and give it back it’s 5 stars. I contacted customer service and found out that the new travel lock protects the trimmer from accidentally turning on while in transit. To control the travel lock, the trimmer must be off and then rapidly click the power button three times to engage or disengage. The battery wasn’t dead after all.PRIMARY REVIEW: I’m very disappointed in this. It stopped charging and working after less than 6 months using it no more than one a month. I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing it because a lot of people complained about the same thing.

It works great when it’s on. Only problem is after I fully charge it, it only lasts about 20 seconds before dying.Edit: After posting the review customer service reached out and sent another replacement. It seems to work well so far.

It effectively trims around sensitive areas, is easy to clean, and requires minimal maintenance, making it convenient for regular use. I have recommended this product to others due to its performance and design. However, one key piece of advice is to purchase the warranty. My trimmer unexpectedly stopped charging without any prior warning signs, and after reviewing feedback from other customers, I’ve found this is a common issue. Despite this setback, it remains a great product when functional, with just this caveat about durability.

Written by my Husband:I am pretty disappointed in this product. I didn’t really enjoy the shaving experience I had with this product and opted to use my old razor instead of it. I’ve had this product for about a year and only used it 3 times. The razor would snag and pull hairs on me very often instead of cut them, it cut me quite a few times, and it would take several passes to do what my old raider would do. Now after only 3 uses in about a years time it is dead and will not hold a charge longer than 1-2 minutes. It seems this product cannot do anything it is advertised to do.As for customer service, I contacted them via the manscaped website and stated the problem and asked if there was a fix for it. The response I got completely ignored my question and just asked for proof of purchase and after I responded with that, they again ignored my question about if there was a fix I could try and just told me they couldn’t refund a purchase over a year old and offered a 15% discount on a new razor. I never asked for a refund, it just felt like they didn’t care to even read my message and just did some auto responses to try and close the support ticket (I promptly got a “thanks for contacting us, please review your experience with support” email). I sent another response asking again if there was a fix or if the product is defective. Given that the first couple responses were within a couple hours of contacting them and it has now been 2 days since my last response, I am guessing they are choosing to again ignore my question. Overall, a waste of money, a waste of time, and a waste of energy for a product that won’t last more than a year or apparently more than 3 uses.I only liked a couple of things about this product. It looks and feels like a nice quality razor (I was obviously deceived), it had a charging dock, and the guards were cool because they were adjustable between two lengths each.Overall, I’m just very disappointed in the product and how I was served by customer service. Go with a different brand and don’t bother giving Manscaped a try.

I admittedly got sucked into the marketing hype that surrounds this product and caved in and bought this trimmer. It’s well-made and a good product, however it’s not the best trimmer you can get by any means. It works as it should, it’s easy to use, and does a good job. It is not as powerful as I expected for the price I paid, but maybe it’s good not to have power when you’re shaving the nether regions? Hmm. I’m not unhappy with my purchase, but I would not buy again. I’m sure there’s a cheaper, equally as good trimmer out there that doesn’t have all the gimmicks.
