Definitely does the trick for my use, on the newer style cars, they make it a lot harder find a spot to mount a phone holder. It’s nice that it has a rectangular base to hold onto a larger area.

Sturdy, functional phone mount
This is a really sturdy stable phone mount. Holds phones well at most angles. Only challenge is if it’s at an angle that it overheats in the summer it may lose its adhesive grip. Also a challenge if you mount the base on a vertical surface. The mount tends to rotate under gravity with the weight of a phone.

Great value
tried many different phone mounts mostly the ones that clip onhook on to the air vent blades in my car. In all fairness they all pretty much wobble or move and eventually lead to a weakening of the air vent blades or cosmetic damage I have used a small magnetic mount that clips to your visor vent blade and that seemed to work the best. This new mount has worked exceptional for me. mounted on the dash or really anywhere that the mount can be mounted on a flat surface. Due to its compact shape was able to mount it right next to my in dash car receiver, no wobbling whatsoever –>looks great. The magnet is really strong and you can angle it. The screws for the mount may have to be slightly adjusted to move the mount with a little more ease, but other than that this is a great product.

Doesn’t hold phone!
Never even got this into my car. My iPhone has a MagSafe case (Berfy). Everything brand new. The magnet was not able to hold my phone when lifted about an inch above the kitchen table. There is a metal plate that they provide to stick onto your phone case. That is supposed to provide better adhesion to the magnet. However, if you install the metal plate, then you cannot use a wireless charger without removing your phone case. Returning. Would not recommend! Going back to my iottie which I’ve had for years without issue.

Generally if these mounts last longer than a year I’m impressed. This one has lasted, looks the cleanest out of the ones I’ve used, and has the smallest footprint.Positive:Solid construction.Sticks to a flat surface well.Strong magnet.Can hold an iPhone SE 2020Negative:Have a larger/Pro size phone and it may have trouble with the weight.Flexible but range is short. May not have a range long enough for Large Phones to fit the space.Over all it hasn’t degraded, and is a solid option that looks high end and minimal. The only negative would be that the hinge/arm may not be able to hold it’s position with heavier phones, while the magnet will not have any trouble at all.

Phone mount is easy install, seems to be sturdy we shall see in time! I have had it a couple days and so far very happy! However if you are expecting chrome it is not. It is all black.
