Fantastic magnetic car sunroof mesh
I own a Honda Pilot and this mesh fits perfectly over my oversized sunroof. The magnetic strips that goes around the entire perimeter of the mesh are more than strong enough to keep the mesh down and keep mosquitoes, flies, gnats and bugs out. This breathable mesh for your car sunroof is actually the best that is on the market right now. It allows for great airflow, it is UV treated and keeps the sun out, and it is a must-have for anyone boon docking or camping in their car. We have a tent that fits on the back of our SUV that has an open mesh, but you have to have the sunroof open for good circulation so this mesh is perfect. Now for the ridiculous, can you drive on the freeway with this on your sunroof? No. This breathable mesh is for when you are parked. It is not permanently stuck to your car! Will this keep a mountain lion from getting into your car? No, nor raccoons. This sunshield/mesh is designed to keep bugs out, the sun out, and give you ventilation. Very impressed with the double and triple stitching that goes around the entire perimeter that holds the magnets in place. It does come with a very nice storage bag for it, and then the mesh folds up and fits back into nicely. Make sure that you measure your sunroof before ordering one because there are different sizes. I highly recommend this mesh not just for camping, but for many other things as well.

Works as advertised
I ordered this item knowing that it would likely be a bit small for my 2021 Subaru Forester Sunroof, but just planning to keep the window partially shut to make it work. It worked as intended and like a charm. It was easy to put up and stayed in place very well. It easily kept out bugs and improved airflow. We didn’t sleep in the car but did need to store things in it and this item was perfect for keeping the car well ventilated so that the inside didn’t start to smell. I would just make sure to be cognizant of the size of your sunroof and how easy it is for you to get to the roof of your vehicle for the install. It’s pretty easy on a Forester; I just used the passenger and driver side door frames to get high enough. But I could see it being an issue for very large SUVs particularly if you’re not very tall.

Good quality, fit over closed Sunroof fine, but not large enough if sunroof open over the roof.
Make sure you pay attention to how your sunroof opens before ordering. I didn’t even think about the fact that my sunroof opens over the top of my roof instead of sliding inside. Dumb move on my part so obviously this did not fit well since the magnet didn’t work on glass and the sunroof popped it open. I have a large Buick Enclave. Had my sunroof not popped open over my roof it would have fit beautifully.A larger size would be a great thing to offer for those of us who have a sun roof and moon roof on their SUV. If it came in a size that would cover I would buy another one from here. I was worried about the magnets being rough on my roof, but they were well protected so they could not scratch the vehicle.The other thing to mention the directions specifically state this is NOT to be used while driving as it will fly off. This is for stationary cars only.

Works perfectly
I purchased this Sunroof shade for use in camping with a 2019 Honda CR-V. The screen covered the sunroof perfectly and gripped well. I found it very easy to install and remove. The carry sack is also handy. I would recommend.

Several Flaws in Finished Product
I bought this for my CRV for camping. It fits nicely and has good suction power. However, there is a flaw or maybe it was just that I received a defective one. The magnets on each side are bendable bars. There are several on each side all the way around. The bars move and fall in behind the others which leaves some of the screen not magnetized. Seems there was just a pocket sewn so they could slip the magnetic bars in. So, in order to have it magnetized properly each time you use it you have to fiddle with moving the magnetic bars back to their original location which is quite aggravating. Plus, one end of the pocket wasn’t sewn and I had a bar slide out. I will have to take a needle and thread to close that up. I will probably also take a needle and thread once I place the magnet bars evenly through the pocket and sew a few stitches in between each one to keep them from moving and falling in behind another bar. Also, while not very difficult to get it back in the bag, it would’ve been nice to have a little bigger bag.

Sunroof bug screen
Ok, 1st thoughts. The storage packaging it came in is nice, but will you be able to get it back in? Stay tuned.The bug screen hole size is nice, not to small as too not let air pass thru and not too big to let bugs in, I feel it’s just right.After I pulled it out of the package I just tossed it on the roof and spread it out. Sure I had to walk to both sides twice to spread it out, it laid out flat with no issues, I didn’t see anywhere bugs would get in. It had like 8 inch long flat magnets all the way around it. Just keep pushing the magnets out to stretch it out.I’m showing you pictures of it on my Honda Passport. The do send some pounds with it incase you have a really curved roof but mine fit just fine.Ok, now for what you have been waiting for. Getting it back in its holder.I found you just fold it length ways in half, then keep folding it along the magnet size and whala!! Push it in its holder. Not an issue.Love it. Giving it a 5 star and would recommend it to my friends and family.

Un produit très facile à ranger dans son étui, pliage super facile, les aimants en longueur fonctionnent très bien. La moustiquaire est solide et est facile à mettre en place de l’intérieur et encore plus facile à enlever.Un bon investissement que je conseille.

This was so great that I wish I could always leave it on. Perfect fit for the Rav. With the window socks and this sunroof screen on my cat slept peacefully in the sun on her pillow. I was car camping so it was good that it wasn’t stifling hot in the car when it was parked. Didn’t need a fan as the breeze through the windows moved the air up and out the sunroof nicely. Good product. Highly recommend!
