Perfect gift for my 8 year old sister!
I purchased this for my little sister’s 8th birthday, since it seems that crutches are an essential prop for pretend play these days.I had originally purchased the Medline Economy Aluminum crutches, which were supposedly meant to work for children between 4′ and 4’6″ but they were too short for my sister who is just about 4 feet tall. These Lumex Youth crutches however, are the perfect size for her, and she plays with them on an almost daily basis.They are easily adjustable, lightweight, and durable. It’s been about 4 months and they’re still in good working order (and trust me she has put them through their paces!) In fact, I’ve just bought a second pair as a gift for one of her friends.

My 7 year old daughter Loves these! She wanted them as a bday present bc she likes to play dolls and act out different scenarios . Anytime her girlfriends come over for a play date that’s the first toy they go for. We wrapped hers up with bright colorful tape to make it look a bit more whimsical. But the quality is top notch and very pleased with the price.

My daughter got these from santa and has not stopped using them for imaginary play. they are very well built, perfect, and she loves them for play. They, of course, are real, and if she was hurt she would use them too, but she has this thing for crutches and imaginary play, so we bought these and are very happy. These are extremely well made.

The top of one of the one crutch arrived cracked and chipped and has continued to break since. We only needed them as a prop, thank gosh no one was actually injured and needed them.

Up to 5’2″ is Incorrect
These are for a person at least a full 2 inches shorter than stated. I am an inch shorter than that, and with these in the “full and upright position” while wearing only socks, these barely touch my armpits. In use, they are held somewhat away from the body, taking the top even further away. The hand grip seems to be slightly off the best position as well. Wishing I had purchased the next size up. I only need these occasionally, but when I do, I really do. Return shipping costs mean these will be donated, and I will live to shop another day.
