Great machine you don’t have to always look for batteries that is a pain in the neck. You can use the machine with batteries or without that make it convenient has an adapter. Also very easy to use and gives an accurate reading.

The main reason I chose the LifeSource UA767 Plus over the similarly priced Omron BP742 was the future cost of batteries. The Omron model does not come with a power AC adapter. So the Omron would cost more for batteries over the lifetime of the unit as well as more hazardous environmental waste. The LifeSource model requires batteries too, but I suspect they are necessary to maintain your blood pressure measurements as well as date and time in the memory of the monitor while it is unplugged from the AC adapter. One feature the Life Force UA767 does not support is two users, while the similarly priced Omron BP742 does. Other than that, both monitors pretty well have the same features. The second reason I decided to go with the LifeSource UA767 Plus – It is listed on Hypertension Canada as one of the approved home blood pressure monitors, as is the Omron BP742.I just recently received this monitor (Mar.30, 2015) and have only conducted a few readings with it, however, the look and feel of the LifeSource monitor seems to be of good quality. The cuff that came with it will fit medium to large arms. At the moment I seem to have some difficulty adjusting the cuff to my arm size, but I’m sure that won’t be a problem once I become more adept at putting it on.The buttons to adjust the date and time are slightly recessed so as not to accidentally engage them. I recommend using the eraser end of a pencil to operate the buttons if your finger tips are too large. One other thing, before you take your first blood pressure measurement, ensure you set the time and date. The package arrived from Amazon two days ahead of the date cited on the shipping confirmation. I opted for the free shipping option. (not Prime) Kudos to Amazon.
