Exactly what I needed!
I purchased this lifter strap before hip replacement last week. I have found this to be one of the best things I have ever bought. I have another one but it does not have the two extra loops on it. Very helpful though. These are so helpful getting in & out of bed. I am short and found this to be very helpful. I felt so safe using it. Great product for all heights of patients.

This leg lifter came folded up which means it had to be unbent to use. This left bent wires and the wire is so thin that it cuts into your foot when you try to use it. I am waiting for instruction on how to return it.

This is a great product and well made. The foot strap has a strong wire to support the device. One end is a fabric loop, the other has the wire support in the loop. If you hold onto the wire end, it will be almost impossible to open the fabric loop to insert your foot. Use the wire end. Bend the wire enough so your foot easily slips in. Then turn it around for the other loops.The seller folds the wire several times to fit in a smaller box for shipping. I can understand that will save on their overhead. BUT, if you’re limited in strength in your hands, you will not be able to unfold the wire yourself. You’ll need the assistance of someone else.

Post knee replacement surgery, I bought this leg lifter, and it is awesome. I can specifically shape the end of it to “hook” my foot and raise it easily. Also, I have used it to attach a water bottle to my walker as I walk from room to rom. I have used the rope-y kind of leg lifter before, but the bendable and stiff quality has been unexpected and extremely helpful. I highly recommend this product.

As others mentioned, I should have read earlier reviews. There is no rod included, it’s just a nylon strap that is useless as a post hip surgery leg lifter. Without the rigid support the user needs help placing the loop over their foot which defeats the purpose. The helper might just as well lift the user’s leg. It cannot be used as advertised. How did this get so many 5 star ratings? Something fishy about that.

We had to order this item twice. The first time it came without the rod.Immediately ordered it again as our mother needed this asap due to hip surgery. Again it arrived without the rod. Still waiting for the return labels and the refund and we still have no leg lifter for our mother. Most people are on a limited income and both purchases have been taken from the bank account.This item is useless for its purpose without the rod, the people who need them cannot bend over to put the loop around their foot. We should have read more of the reviews.
