I purchased this as I was enclosing my attic for my man cave and wanted to check the walls/insulation for hot spots, or cold spots if you will. It worked very well for that, and I gladly absorbed the cost as DIY was clearly far cheaper than hiring out. It worked well and helped me ensure top efficiency in walls by adding and moving insulation, or even sealing as needed. I was fine with having an extra tool that would almost never be used. Or so I thought…Fast forward almost 2 years and I recently purchased a Blackstone griddle, and discovered this thermometer was excellent to both learn the variance in surface temps per zones on the griddle, but also ensure cooking temp is where it needs to be for whatever I may be cooking. It has been irreplaceable here and I use it almost every time I cook, which is a lot. So, almost 2 years and going strong, but also extremely helpful beyond the most recent use as a laser light cat toy. But seriously, I have found uses through the last years in troubleshooting AC and other items. Glad I purchased…

Love Klein tools but not sure if the most accurate
My child was sick recently with a fever and thought to use this in a pinch. It did get a temp reading but think it was off a few degrees. We ordered one with many high reviews which is meant to accurately measure forehead temps and in comparison the Klein was reading on the lower end. It works well for within 95% accuracy but for accurate temps for fevers go with different option. Again I know this isn’t for humans or precise measurements but figured a Klein product would be right on the money. On a side note it does work well for monitoring bath temps and jacuzzi temps! For the mechanics it gives solid readouts on wheel bearing temps, brake temps, etc for simple diagnosis

Klein has a great reputation for selling quality tools.
Even my wife has found a use for my newest tool purchase. She raises bees and being winter she wanted to be able to see if hives were still alive. Jury’s still out on all hives fate as the clusters can be small and located inside hive not accessible the laser pointer. But was able to determine at least one hive is still viable.

Pues creo que es una compra buena . Sin embargo pensé que sería más preciso el termómetro digital. Tiene una variación de +- 2 grados centígrados al medir lo cual para mí es demasiado al momento de precisar temperatura. El multimetro no he tenido oportunidad de ponerlo a prueba aunque espero sea más preciso que el termómetro. Dada la calidad que expresa la marca no debería tener problemas al hacer pruebas de su multimetro las subiré en cuanto tenga evidencia de su desempeño

Por el precio al que lo compre ya con descuento, es buen producto, más de lo que uno podría esperar, aunque, al precio original que ronda mas de 1100$ no es tan buena la relación costó/beneficio.Hablando de las caracteristicas tecnicas del tiempo que lo he usado pues podría decir que está perfecto y no me ha fallado, aunque, debo aclarar que no tengo un punto de referencia con el cual compararlo, es decir, este sería mi punto de referencia para comparar con otro aparatos de carcteristicas similares, así que, solo puedo confiar en que tiene lecturas precisas de la temperatura.Lo único que hay que tener en cuenta, es la distancia a la que se debe realizar la medicion para que sea lo más precisa posible, y lo especifica en el manual.
