A little expensive but…
The size of this one compared to the little one. This thing is huge! Extremely great quality, and absolutely beautiful. But unfortunately my son likes the little one and never touched the big one. Have to return I don’t understand why he wouldn’t want the bigger one it’s amazing. If your child loves the hungry caterpillar you have to get them one of the Eric Carl caterpillars they are extremely well made, and they will love to carry it around and make it pretend to eat through stuff. I highly recommend as a gift with the book. I have to return because my child won’t even hold it.

I bought this for my grandson who is 22 months old. He is obsessed with The Very Hungry Caterpillar. He loves it! It’s just right for his little hands. He caries it everywhere and even calls it “Bobby”.

Bought this along with The Very Hungry Caterpillar board book for a baby shower gift. Along with this purchase I also bought other books along with matching plush characters. Everything came on time with some items arriving early(not sure if this was one of the early arrivals or not). This is a soft but firm little toy and will be very easy for a small child to hold onto while being read the book. The story itself is extremely basic, it is literally a caterpillar eating and then poof! It’s a butterfly. If you’re looking for more of a moral behind a story pick another children’s book. This plush and it’s book however make a great addition to a collection and with imagination you can create plenty of lasting life lessons. It’s a cute little plush toy no matter how you use it.
