I recently purchased the KAAMOS Bed Trapeze Bar for my wife, who has MS, and it has been an excellent addition to our home. I had previously tried other overhead pullers, but they interfered with the ceiling fan, and the models with legs were not stable. With the KAAMOS Trapeze Bar, I was initially uncomfortable with just clamping the button to the headboard, so I added a 2×2 and bolted the item to the headboard. This modification made it incredibly sturdy.Although the handle was metal and a bit heavy, I swapped it out for a lighter one that wouldn’t hurt my wife’s head. Now, the trapeze is perfect. It’s very sturdy and has proven to be the best and most secure solution we’ve tried. Importantly, it doesn’t look like a hospital railing, which was a priority for my wife.This trapeze bar has given her the autonomy to reposition herself in bed without my help, and she appreciates the independence it provides. It also helps her maintain the mobility she still has. Overall, the KAAMOS Bed Trapeze Bar has exceeded our expectations and significantly improved our daily life.

If you have problems getting in or getting out of bed, this is the product for you. If you are attaching it to a drywall wall, just get a stud finder and use two lag bolts on one side and two quarter inch toggle bolts on the other side. Strong enough to stand on

This design is fabulous. And so versatile. It worked well with another overhead trapeze and a belt ladders that mom used to pull her self up in bed. I highly recommend this product. It’s very easy to use and comfortable for seniors to hold which I think is very important.

For the price, this is good. It is a very simple way to provide a way for someone with limited strength and mobility to pull themselves up out of bed or to a standing position, where it might not be practical to install a standard grab bar or bed rail. Of course, it depends on a very solid wall mount. Expanding anchors are included for concrete, but I did not use them – I mounted this to a vertical bar using a mast clamp that I fabricated out of wood, and the vertical bar is screwed to the ceiling. It might be nice if there were an optional attachment for pole mounting.In any case, this product could be made better by improving the small rings that attach the short chain to the position locking pin – the attachment links almost fell apart before I finished the assembly, so I substituted some spare key-rings instead. Also, the small hole where the retaining chain would attach to the wall-bracket is not drilled in the right location in my opinion; if you rotate the swing arm fully in that direction, it could shear the chain link. Finally, the tolerances of the bracket could be tightened. I installed a thin gasket material between the swing arm and the mounting bracket, which made the arm movement feel much more “snug” and kept the arm dead horizontal when no weight is on it. It is important to install the wall bracket with the gussets on the bottom for strength. – It was a worthwhile purchase, instructions are adequate, and it arrived very quickly.
