Works great with my Sony 1000XM3 and 1000XM4s when they need to charge. USB to the phone, stereo to the headphones, and we can charge and listen at the same time. Even works when I plug it into my PC through a C->A adapter, so it’s great for any modern device that doesn’t have an aux output in a convenient location but does have some form of USB.For audiophiles looking for a review of the sound quality produced by a DAC chip that’s so small it’s embedded directly into the USB-C strain relief of a product marketed by a company whose name is a jumble of letters designed specifically to be easily approved by the USPTO… I cannot describe any difference in sound quality related to the device itself I between using this vs bluetooth on any of my listening devices.They’re affordable and durable enough I’m buying another 2-pack so I can keep them conveniently stashed around the house. Then again, it would be nice if Sony could figure out how to integrate this kind of chip into their headphone design so I wouldn’t need this kind of product to go along with my hundreds-of-dollars headset for the times when they need to charge.

These cables are well designed, sturdy and will certainly provide a long life of use. I was looking for a replacement cable to listen to my music while mowing the lawn. The original cable that came with the headphones had long ago failed. These will, I’m sure, last for years to come!

I was previously using a different usbc-audio cable for the iPad when iOS 16 was out and it worked great. Once iOS 17 came out it stopped working for … reasons. The old cable also didn’t work with the new iPhone.This cable works with both. When you plug it in for the first time it will ask if you want to use them as headphones. If you say yes they just work. It works with the iPhone and iPad.I highly recommend this cable if you want a hard wired audio connection.
