Does so much more than wound healing
This stuff does so much more than wound-care. I’ve only been on it a few days but in that short amount of time I can already tell that it has helped my circulation. In particular I feel like it’s helped the blood flow to my feet. I have an ulcer on my big toe that I’ve been dealing with for months which is what prompted me to order. I also feel like it has incredibly increased my energy; I no longer get that afternoon fatigue. I also feel like it has hydrated my eyes and my skin also looks more plump. I’ve only been able to take it once a day because anything more than that makes me jittery. Probably due to the vitamin B. The packets are also very large and I noticed that most of the posters do not mention this. Be prepared it’s a very large packet, you can almost use half a packet a day if you wanted to cut cost. I really don’t see how people drink two packets a day? But then again I’m small petite so that may be why. Vitamin B affects me and if you’re sensitive to it I would not recommend taking two a day. If you want to dose two, take them early in the day otherwise they will keep you up at night. I’ve also noticed an increase in my mood not feeling quite so anxious. And lastly I feel like it might be helping my metabolism. I don’t feel quite so hungry like I used to. I don’t think it suppresses appetite, I think it just stabilizes the metabolism. So far, this has been an outstanding product. Yes it’s expensive but the size of the packet makes it affordable. If you’re on the fence about trying this, I would highly recommend it. The tropical punch is very good. I haven’t tried the orange yet but I intend on trying it since I purchased the variety formula. Great product Ensure!!!

Effective Wound Healing Adjunct
Wound healing is complex, For those of us at an increased risk of adverse outcomes, this is a potential option (speak with your physician/provider). We used this as a part of the ERAS protocol. Is it delicious? No. But that is not its purpose – this is “immunonutrition”, not a refreshing beverage to sip on a warm summer day (sadly). Is it palatable? Absolutely and it’s even “okay”. – Orange has perhaps a bit more bitter than fruit punch, but both are fine – Using a small hand frother has been the best way to dissolve the powder in water and then just drink it down. I found it clumped when placed in a water bottle and shaken regardless of how vigorous I shook it. – I added a small serving of Stur coconut pineapple once – consider this/similar if the taste is too off-puttingIt is a bit expensive, however my RD had a discount code from the manufacturer as an option to help offset. Overall this has been an effective adjunct in wound healing.

Juven- great for post op following doctors orders
Ordered this product after surgery per doctors instructions and I have noticed a difference in my hair and healing. Mixed it with some Gatorade and not bad at all. I tried the unflavored option. Will order more to have as needed.

Game changer
this product has been a game changer in my healing process. I will say that it took me a few days to figure out the best way to drink it. If you mix it straight into a drink, it can be a little powdery tasting. It doesn’t dissolve quickly. what I did was, I started putting it in my drink and shaking it up and leaving it in the refrigerator overnight when I get up, I shake it again and then drink it and it’s a lot smoother. The flavors are not bad. I have the fruit and the orange taste like one of those drink packets that you would put in your water. The difference in my level of healing after I started drinking this has been significant. I had been about five weeks without seeing much healing from a surgical incision after I had taken this for a week, We started to see some progress and now I’m on week three of seeing progress in the healing of my incision. My goal was for my incision to heal without me having to have additional surgery and so far I’m on that path. Please make sure you discuss with your doctor before you start taking this.

Yuck, but hopeful — update- Great News and fixed the yuck!
My old review is below. 1st: My doc and nurses were surprised at how good my wound is finally doing this week after being treated since July and asked what I’m doing differently- Juven! 😃2nd: I found out on the Juven site that you can mix it in yogurt. What a difference! It’s no longer awful and nauseating. I’ve been using 2 to 3 large tablespoons of Greek Gods Honey Vanilla yogurt or plain Fage Greek yogurt after adding a little vanilla syrup and a little honey with the “unflavored” Juven and it turned out nicely. I’m sure any yogurt flavor will do.Previous review:If this cures my wound, then it will be worth it. A sample of Fruit Punch was tolerable and that’s what I’ll order next time. Orange was gross in orange juice, didn’t try it on its own. So, I purchased unflavored. Just don’t! The only way I can tolerate it is to put in OJ and add sugar free vanilla syrup (which tastes sweeter than regular vanilla syrup) Then it’s almost like a Push Up Orange cream flavor, but still leaves me a little nauseated. Gross in water, apple juice, plain OJ and hot tea. Just made a strong Irish Breakfast tea with cream and the only positive was to find that this was the first time it actually dissolved. Otherwise, this was the worst flavor yet. I will continue OJ with vanilla syrup and I always drink it with a straw, trying to bypass some taste buds and get it down fast. If wound looks better after this box, I’m back to Fruit Punch in ice water with a straw.
