Good, with a Couple of Tweaks
Pretty good first-aid kit in a small form factor. I removed a few items that are unnecessary and added a couple that, for me, ARE necessary. These include the syringe and a suction cup from THE EXTRACTOR (for snake bites and bee stings), and a tick spoon (better than the chunky, stiff tweezers provided in the kit). From Amazon I also purchased a pair of quality 4” EMT shears that are smaller and lighter than the ones included in this kit (see photo).

    Versatile Kit
I purchased this kit for my car. Not so much for hiking but I do do camping. It has everything you need in a quick pinch. It’s an amazing little first aid kit

    Was mostly there…
I got everything advertised except the forceps and the safety pin, they just weren’t in the package when I got it. I’m replacing with items I already had, it was just a little disappointing. Otherwise, I like the size and weight for camping, so I will use it.

    Basic and Lightweight
The Hiker kit did not have the advertised guide to wilderness first aid; product description needs to be changed. This is a decent, lightweight first aid kit for small cuts, scrapes, stings with over the counter pain relievers. The nice part is the labeled sections to help you locate things faster.

Excellent choice: outdoor leader review of it below
As an outdoor leader and avid hiker/backpacker, who was trained as a wilderness first responder back in the day, I first want to say I’ve used this brand on and off for years. This particular kit is definitely an upgrade from my old hiking one, with easy organization and no filler. Every item serves a purpose, with a balanced mix of bandages, gauze, and wound care essentials. I appreciate the inclusion of butterfly closures and burn/sting treatments, though I would have liked a few more of those. Unlike some other kits this also comes with common OTC meds, and the expiration dates were a year or two out.The kit’s soft-sided, zippered design is great for tossing in my day pack when I hike, and while the hang loop seemed weird at first, I have been using it to keep it on a hook in my closet so I can grab it easily before each outing. If you take this overnight, it also allows you to hang it where it is visible to anyone who might need it while in camp. It lays flat when open, which is a good thing when you are quickly working on someone (or yourself). The internal compartments are clearly labeled and zippered, making it easy to find what you need in an emergency. The included first aid guide is good for when you are offline and need quick, reliable advice. This thing is also super lightweight and so there isn’t the excuse of “ohh it adds too much weight” because it really doesn’t.Overall, this kit is thoughtfully designed for outdoor folks like me, and is holding up well with regular use. It’s absolutely worth the price and I recommend it.

    Nice design and well supplied
I am have been buying little first aid kits for years and I think this is my favorite so far, for two reasons.1. It is very well stocked, with no “padding”, i.e., lots of bandaids to fill up the space. All the items had expiration dates in 2026. There was a nice ratio of bandages and bandaids to wound prep items, and a good variety of bandages, gauze, and tape. There are also butterfly closures, which are often missing from these types of kits for some reason. I really appreciate the burn and sting medication, though I would prefer more than one of each. There is also a first aid book that covers all sorts of situations, not just small abrasions. This is great for when there isn’t a cell phone signal or you are just prefer to be able to look at a book.2. The design of the bag. It’s awesome. It is soft sided and easy to squeeze into bags or car glove boxes are such. It appears to be water resistant and it has a reinforced bottom. There is a small handle to carabiner to a backpack or something like that. It unzips into different compartments that are permanently labeled (for example, wound care, medication, etc.) and also zipped. The organization is awesome, and the bag should last through refills for a while, as long as the zipper holds out.The price is reasonable as much smaller kits with a third of these items will run 10 to 15 dollars, and those will be filled with bandaids that are hard to open and cheap. This kit is ideal for small cuts and bites, things that might happen while camping.
