I’ve weighed up to 78 lbs with this unit and it still remains calibrated and working. The battery has lasted over a year with frequent use. It is very light weight so it can go in the luggage without impairing weight availability. Does shut off automatically, or manually.

Light weight, well constructed, and most importantly – accurate.I’m so glad I purchased this. If you travel a lot this is a must have to save any last minute scrambling at the airport. Me aguantó todo el viaje a Europa sin ningun contratiempo. Siempre funcional y exacto en el peso ya que cargamos mas de 15 kilos y sin problema. Desde entonces ya llevo 6 meses con el y funciona como nuevo.Lo que les recomiendo es guardar el protector que tiene para las pilas, ya que eso me evitó el que se gastara. Lo que hacía era quitarle ese protector cada que lo iba a usar, y ponerselo cuando no.
