Safety issue
Purchased this for my handicapped husband as we were renting a different brand. Our rented sit to stand was too narrow for him to easily stand without catching his hips on the pivot points of the paddles seat). This is marketed as bariatric so we purchased this. The pivot points on the seat are a little wider than the other brands, but not by much. The brakes on the front wheels are horrible and totally worthless. They do not stop the wheels from moving at all. This is a major safety hazard. No longer can transfer him myself with this sit to stand as we need to block the wheels with our feet to keep it from moving. This also is not made for a taller person as the grab bar is really low and not adjustable. Cannot return it so will be donating it to a non-profit organization that loans out medical equipment. All in all incredibly disappointed in this product and would not recommend.
