    These headphones sound great!
I tried out and returned several different headphones before settling on these. These work and sound great! Very comfortable and easy to use. Great quality, even though I had to replace them after a short time. I have a bad habit of catching the cord on things when I come home from my walk and don’t unplug them from my phone/take them out of my pocket so I damaged them several times before I had to buy new ones- but I didn’t hesitate to buy these again!

    Reliable headphones
They work great and have a really nice sound, mic works well for phone calls, but most importantly I accidentally dropped them out of my pocket getting out of my car one cold and VERY rainy night and I found them on the street in the morning and they still worked perfectly.

    Great Value with Some Limitations
Quick SummaryThe JBL Tune 310C earbuds are a great value for those seeking affordable, plug-and-play wired headphones. They deliver solid sound quality with a bass-heavy profile, work seamlessly across multiple devices, and handle high-resolution audio well on platforms like Tidal and Apple Music. The controls, including playback and volume, work well, but phone calls were not tested. However, they aren’t ideal for running or intense workouts due to noticeable cable noise and limited cable length. For casual listening and stationary workouts, they perform well for the price.JBL Tune 310C Review: In lengthThe JBL Tune 310C earbuds, in my opinion, are a great value option for anyone looking for simple, plug-and-play wired headphones. I tested them with four devices: a Pixel 6a, Samsung A25, Pixel 9, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. On all of these devices, the headphones worked flawlessly—no extra apps, configurations, or tweaks required. I just plugged them in, pressed play, and got exactly what I expected out of them.Sound QualityThe sound quality is solid for the price especially on sale, but I do have a few gripes. Out of the box, these earbuds are very bass-heavy. While this is fine for apps with adjustable equalizers it becomes an issue for standard Android and iOS users using self libraries, where there are no built-in sound configuration options. For reference, I tested with Tidal, Spotify, and Apple Music. On Tidal and Apple Music, I was able to achieve 24-bit 192kHz playback, which really showcased the earbuds’ capabilities when listening to high-quality tracks, like John Williams’ compositions. Unfortunately, Spotify doesn’t support this quality, so the earbuds feel a bit wasted there compared to Bluetooth alternatives.Controls and PerformanceThe inline controls on the earbuds worked well for playback and volume adjustments during my testing. I didn’t test phone call functionality, so I can’t comment on call quality, but everything else performed as expected. There are a few trade-offs when compared to Bluetooth earbuds. The cable transfer noise is noticeable when the wire bounces around. While it’s not deal-breaking, it does make these earbuds unsuitable for running or high-intensity calisthenics. However, if you’re weightlifting or in more stationary positions where the cable isn’t moving too much, you’ll get by just fine. One issue I ran into was the cable length. I wish it were about 6 inches longer. While using an arm band helped, when I kept my phone in my gym shorts pocket, the earbuds got yanked out of my ears more often than I’d like. It’s not a huge issue, but it’s worth noting.Durability and Sweat ResistanceI can’t speak to the long-term durability of these earbuds just yet, but I did test them during a 3-hour workout session, and they held up without any issues. I didn’t notice any immediate problems related to sweat resistance.Final ThoughtsFor the price and sound quality, the JBL Tune 310C earbuds are an easy buy if you want something that just works and sounds great and won’t break the bank and modern one cable solution. While the heavy bass and cable noise might not make them perfect for everyone, they are excellent for casual listening, hold up okay not great but enough for flights or stationary workouts. If you don’t need or want or can’t afford the wireless convenience of Bluetooth earbuds, these offer a lot of value for their price.

    Great Value, Simple, Excellent Sound
Very nice sound, great for travel, and excellent price point. I’ve gone through so many ear buds and headphones and IEM over the years – going back to basics. Batteries never run down – there aren’t any. They fit well, but if they fall out the wire ensures you won’t lose them. No noise cancellation, but with a variety of rubber tips you can get a good solid fit even if you are Vincent Van Gogh, and pretty much block out all the extraneous noise around you. Liked these so much I bought two – and at this price point, you can too. I bought my pair in different colors, one black, one white – you know, for diversity.

    No Durability
I have bought two pairs of these headphones, and while they have some positives, they’ve both have died within 1 month of purchase. I will admit maybe I use them more than most people do, but they should still last at least a year before they start having problems. The first pair was bought on Nov. 12 this year (2024) and on Dec. 5 the same year, they died – the cable was unable to get a reliable connection. The second pair was bought on Dec. 5 (the same day the first pair died) and today (Dec. 20) have failed due to similar reasons.Previously I had trusted JBL to deliver quality products, but after this I’m skeptical about any future JBL products.

    They sound very good
For the price, these JBL Tune 310C headphones sound pretty good. They are sturdy, fit well and come with extra pods for different ear canal sizes. They also have a button control, right below the ear for easy for volume or changing songs. For people like me that are freaked out buy all of the radiation and EMF’s in wireless products, these make me feel better, but I am sure they are putting at least a small amount of EMF’s out too. I don’t think they are completely un-avoidable, but I digress. These are quality ear buds that seem to live up to the JBL products that we all love and have enjoyed for many years. Enjoy your purchase, and OH, BTW, I DO NOT work for JBL or Amazon. Just an honest review of a product that I purchased.

The search for an Apple EarPods replacement continues
If you’re like me you’ve been looking for a pair of cheap USB-C earbuds to use with your iPhone that are better than EarPods at blocking out ambient noise. When I first tried on these JBL buds, I thought I had it. They fit well and feel good in the ear, the sound quality is on par with EarPods, and they seal out the sound of the NYC subway pretty well. The microphone is much worse than EarPods, allowing in tons of outside noise, but that was a sacrifice that those who I call would have to deal with. However, it was soon apparent that the unique shape of the headphone wires completely ruins their usefulness. If EarPods have a spaghetti shape, think linguine for these. At first I thought it was just a poor aesthetic choice, as the EarPods drape down elegantly (I previously thought it was just “normally”), and the JBL’s kink out in random directions (pictured). It soon became apparent that even the slightest movement or jostle to these unique wires transferred an enormous amount of noise directly to the inner ear. Such a large amount of noise that it hurt my ears and even seemed to defy the laws of physics. So I am returning these and continuing my search. Do better, JBL! The market is wide open.

I bought these headphones to pair with Google Pixel 9 and I am truly blown away by the results. I am sure, that phone comes equipped with great quality dac and amp, and perhaps that is why these sound so phenomenal, but for sure, I was not expecting them to sound this musical and deep. Sound quality is many times its price point. Just close your eyes and buy these if your hardware comes with decent dac/amp.
