Will keep buying. I read some reviews about the bag not reclosing. It’s a zip lock, and the fine granules get packed in the lining before opening for the first time, so you just have to run something in there to slide out the packed powder. And it works just fine. A fingernail or a butter knife oughta do it.

Better tasting than the flavored powders and doesn’t contain the chemicals. All of the flavored powders contain sucralose and other chemicals. Sucralose for example has been shown to destroy the gut microbiome in animals. Of course industry says that doesn’t necessarily mean the same thing happens to humans. We use it in pancakes and waffles quite frequently, and I make peanut butter protein balls using Isopure on a regular basis. If I had any complaints it would be the cost compared to some similar products out there. However, I have this delivered through a subscription from Amazon, which helps to cut the cost down.

Protein Option that Allows Taste Variances
This sells for a great price point, I saved $7 each of price paid at Walmart. This unflavored protein powder is the best option post bariatric surgery because you can add it to the foods that you delicate system will tolerate during the healing face. Not to mention allowing leeway with the temperamental response of your taste buds! Caution, blend well into warm, not hot liquids and do not bring the liquid to a boil as the protein can clump to itself and solidify if heat is to high. An immersion blender works beautifully for this powder.

Does not mix well with a spoon
I bought this to add to drinks for my husband as he has lost a lot of weight due to an illness and is now underweight. I can’t comment on the nutritional value as we haven’t used it for long. I gave it 3 stars because it does not mix well with a spoon. Especially in hot. The directions do recommend using a blender or shaker but it also says can be stirred with a spoon. It wasn’t too bad when I mixed it in a glass of cold milk but when I added it to a cup of hot chocolate it was nothing but lumps. Pic was taken after I poured it through a strainer. I tried mixing it (with a spoon) in cold milk then heating it before I added the chocolate mix but it was still lumpy after heating it. Today I dragged out the blender and put it in the cold milk, mixed it really well, heated it and added the chocolate mix and it was much better. As far as taste, I didn’t notice any difference in the drinks we mixed it in.

Plus: no flavor, no smell, no weird additives so it’s not an ultra processed foodMinus (big) it clumps in hot liquids. I tried adding it to my bone broth and it turned into a bunch of clumps like little dumplings. Used a whisk and a frother to try and break it up without success. It’s great I. Smoothies and yogurt though.

I absolutely hate the taste of non-sugar sweeteners in protein powder, tried a whole bunch of different brands. This protein powder, unsweetened, is surprisingly pleasant on the palate. Almost taste a little like milk. My favorite protein powder so far.
