UPDATE TO MY REVIEW / It’s NOT indestructible!
UPDATE: I stand by my review for the original “Plush Toy”. BUT … the seller contacted me and offered to help, because they don’t want their customers to be unhappy with their products. I described the problem, and they said they’d contact their supplier to correct things. AND … they offered to send another dog toy that actually was indestructible. My dog, a Border Collie – Retriever mix, loved the replacement they sent, an Orange Peanut. (He even took it to bed the first night.) This was much appreciated. But what I most appreciated was their Customer Service and Care. They don’t just say they want their customers to be happy, they actually demonstrate it by their actions. This type of care is rare these days, and I commend them for it. Notice I’ve changed my rating from 1-star to 5-stars, this is in recognition of their Customer Service. To me, this type of care is more important than any product. So I now fully endorse this seller. If you have an issue with a product, just contact them (through Amazon), and they will do their utmost to make things right, and to make sure you’re happy.******************************************I bought this because it was described as “Dog Plush Toy for Large Aggressive Chewers, Indestructible Dog Squeaky Toy” (from their listing on Amazon). My dog is a Golden Retriever mix, and he’s only a “medium size aggressive chewer”. And yet, this toy lasted 10 minutes at the most.Very disappointing … save yourself a “dog toy heartbreak”.

It started dying on the first we got it.
I was tired of my dog eating his beds and my kids shoes, he doesn’t eat mine because he knows that it would count as his last meal. So, tired of having to buy my kids shoe after shoe. I decided to get this so he is occupied with this and not shoes. Now. I have a 1 yr old 17pound Doxie mini, nevertheless, this little puppy managed to rip off the ear on the first day. I should have know better, but I decided against my better judgment. Maybe desperate to get him to stop eating the shoes. I dont know. I just bought it. When it came it was firm but still soft (stuffing) and I had my doubts. I had read the reviews. I read the bad first, but they were mostly of large dogs so I said to hell with it. And got it, big mistake. It lasted all of 2 weeks before the guts were spread all over my kitchen floor. The worst crime scene I have ever seen. He started with torture. He took his time to pull off it limbs. Every day I would find severed body parts. (Ears, Arms, Leg etc…) until he had had his fill and went in for the final Coup De Grace and put the poor bear out of its misery. All and all this is a total waste of time and money. FYI. We got him a buddy so he wasn’t so bored all the time. Another big mistake. Now he has a partner in crime as the cat now helps him eat the shoes. I give up

Very impressive!
This toy has really surprised me! My dog, a 23lb Boston Terrier, is a very aggressive chewer and this product has somehow managed to last a whole week and is still intact! I bought this toy at the same time as I bought a few others and gave them all to him at once and he immediately picked this one as his favorite. When he decides to get aggressive with it, he seems to focus mostly on the ropes that are attached and thus the design seems to make it last longer. The rest of it seems to be fairly durable as he also goes after the ears and tail at times. But like I said, they have managed to hold up much longer than other toys. And for the price, I really think you can’t beat it! I just went in and ordered another one at for a reserve and we’ll probably do the same once he destroys it inevitably lol. Highly recommend

Don’t bother
everything about this felt like it would last. The material felt strong but they added the little things dogs will sit there and chew until it opens- ears, dog holes, tails. Anything they can sit and chew until they can get fluff out. Oh well.
I truly believe there are no “indestructible” toys for dogs. I was hopeful for this one. Claims to be just that-indestructible. Perfect. One day. Barely one day and the nose hole was ripped open and stuffing everywhere.

Indestructible; HAHA, Maybe for some other dogs
I really wanted this toy to be the one. It looks very sturdy in the pictures. The toy arrived quickly and when I opened the package I knew this was not going to last 5 minutes for my dog. The toy itself is very well made and the materials are excellent. And the toy is as described except for the indestructible part. However it is not for aggressive chewers. A normal dog would get many, many hours of enjoyment out of it. My dog worked less than 5 minutes on it before stuffing was being pulled out and squeaker was dead. The rope legs are still intact but are really too short as pull toy, hand is too close to those jaws and teeth and an accidental bite is bound to happen. I will try to tie the 2 rope legs together to make it longer. I do like the craftsmanship of the toy and will try the canvas material toy to see if it will fare any better. My dog is 2 1/2 years old at the time of this review and is a female bull terrier.

Destructible!
These things are so cute and I’m sure great for puppies or non aggressive chewers but 2 of our GSP s were chewing the ears off minutes after I gave them to them. Luckily we have a couple that are not so aggressive with squeaky toys so they will be for them only. They did say it was good for large aggressive chewers in the description above the main picture I believe. Maybe if the could make the body out of some of the tough rubber dog toy stuff and sill have the tough rope through it.

We have two pudelpointers that are very oral. Most toys don’t last a day in this house. So far this toy has held up very well to their mouthy scrutiny. The young boy seems to love it the most, and teases his brother with it. I would recommend this product to my friends. The noise level is perfect, and it is very well serving its purpose.

My dog made short work of this “indestructible” toy. Chewed off ears and opened body cavity pulling out stuffing.
It didn’t even last the night. My dog pulled apart within hours. Will not be buying again –
In the first five minutes, the rope was pulled out and torn the shreds with the rest of the toy hours later. Waste of money.
