One of the best toys ever invented
I got this for my cats for Christmas and it was a big hit. It was everyone’s favorite toy. The ball lights up, makes chirping noises and moves by itself. You can let them play with it by itself or you can put it in the included mat. I prefer to use the mat so that the ball doesn’t get lost under furniture or who knows where. Anyways, the mat has a Velcro enclosed hole to put the ball inside. The ball is rechargeable and the charge lasts for quite awhile. I charge it every 2 days, which is pretty good for as much as they play with it. It takes just a couple hours to get a full charge. When you turn it on, the ball runs for about 15 minutes or so and then goes to sleep. When the cats mess with it, the ball wakes up and playtime starts all over again. The mat is a really good quality. It holds up to a lot of cat claws. It also washes well. I wash it on delicate in cold water and tumble dry low. It comes out good as new. This toy is so great that I plan to buy another one.

It’s the cat’s meow!
Of several $30-40 toys I’ve tried for my cat, this is still the clear winner for both of us! ~3 weeks later & still no contest. My cat’s never lost interest. The noise isn’t obnoxious. It’s just big enough to not go under the stove, fridge etc & get stuck. It gets out from under larger gaps by itself. The battery lasts for more than 2 days on a charge. In fact I’ve never seen it die; I just recharge it anyway. No problem recommending it.

I have a cat who lived as a hoarded cat for his first 3 years. During the winter, he started acting oddly and I thought he was bored since the windows were closed. I have tried many toys that stimulate hunting but he was bored with them quickly, if he didn’t actually kill the toys by breaking them like he would when hunting his food.It took him a couple of minutes to understand what the new thing was and he loves it. I set it on the second power level and when he hears it moving, he goes and plays.The description is accurate in that on the medium power level, the charge lasts 1 day. It takes around 2 – 2.5 hrs to completely charge. The opening in the bag is kind of annoying to locate, so I put a line with a marker in an easy to see color.This is a great toy. I even bought a back up one for when it dies.The 2 cons I have are what brings my rating down to average. The first is it should come with 2 balls so one can be charged while the other is being played with. The second is after a week, the bias tape is coming off the edge in one area. My cat is not gentle playing with this but it shouldn’t fall apart in a week. I’ll sew a double stitch over the bias tape so it stays together.Update: The seller contacted me and offered a full refund due to the bias tape issue. I refused the order because it’s not their fault my cat jumps from the chair, hits the target (the plastic) and gets his kill. 😀 It was nice of them to offer and shows their customer service level.

Whether your cats like it and stay interested in it will influence your own rating. I give this product 5 stars for being constructed well and with thoughtful features of the electronic device itself. One of my cats was a little scared by it and the other cat loses interest fast, but after a day of non-use, that cat resumes being interested in it. With the electronic device removed, the cat that was afraid of it began to lie on it and eventually wasn’t afraid of the electronic toy inside. The interactive setting piques both cats’ curiosity. The battery lasts a long time, at least a day, on the interactive mode, and recharging is quick enough to appreciate. For price and function, it is above average on value, so I really recommend trying it.

Interesting toy but scared cats
This actually is a good toy but I am embarrassed to say that my cats were afraid of it even my 4 yr old. Since she is on the “wild” side I thought she would love this toy. Unfortunately, she stood on the sidelines with the others just watching it. The only one who had a little bit of interaction with it was Crazy Harry. He occasionally would poke at it when it stopped moving. While I would have loved to give it a higher rating since I think the idea is a good one, I can’t since the cats wouldn’t play with it.

Our cats are spoiled so I’ve been having trouble finding new toys to interest them. They LOVE this one and I agree with them. They have a toy that spins around under a round cloth but they figured out how to catch the mechanism so that was no fun anymore. This one has the toy inside of it. No matter how much they try to find the ball, they can’t get it. They’ve been playing with it all day. It stops after a while if they stop playing with it but ever once in a while it flashes and catches their attention so they pounce on it again. I’m getting another because one of our cats is a Maine coon and he hogs everything.The fabric is a bit crinkly and the noise is pleasing to them. Also it’s very sturdy. Our Maine coon won’t be able to tear this one up.AND! It’s rechargeable. No batteries.🥳

The Play mat is a great invention with rotating ball is great and jumpy .. The plastic cover is not … For multiple cats jumping on it with there claws will make holes .. Should have been in a smooth light velvet cloth ..also if Its flat the ball unit cannot move around . Have to shake it Up ,, so money wise a lot ,, for a plastic cover That wont last …
