Works but be careful at the airport!
Works well, stores my medication and keeps cool for hours. Just be careful at the airport and remove from your carry on bag, so it doesn’t get mistaken for something else like I went through.

Keeps supplies safe and in order
This hard back insulin cooler is a life saver! It works great, gives plenty of storage space for supplies and keeps insulin cool. I’ve given several out as gifts!

I live in FL where it is HOT!
I decided to test this out in a hot closed up car and was amazed at how well it did. It was 104° in the car. After two and a half hours, the cooler temp was at 41.9°. The ice packs still were mostly solid. That’s excellent. Most people aren’t going to need to use it in temps that high, so you know it will go for hours longer in more moderate temperatures. It’s nice to know that you can go shopping and safely leave your insulin in the car for a while. The built in thermometer is accurate, but it must be powered by a battery somewhere. There are no instructions for replacing that battery, but I’m guessing by the time I need to do that, I will have a pretty good sense of how long I can use it without the contents getting too hot.The cooler has ice packs not gel packs which I would prefer for their flexibility in the freezer, but works well.

Very cool cooler
This is a very cool (pun intended) cooler for storing your insulin while traveling. The two included ice packs freeze rock hard and fit perfectly in the cooler. The zipper is easy to zip up and the inside pouch contains a piece of Velcro that allows you to completely remove it if necessary. The removeable pocket contains a mesh net pocket with zipper for needle tips and/or syringes. The other half of the pocket has stretchy bands that pull apart for sliding in vials or insulin pens. There’s also a carrying lanyard. The front of the cooler has an easy to read digital temperature gauge. At room temperature, the cooler took about 9 minutes to get to down to 33.4 degrees Fahrenheit, which is the lowest temp I read on the gauge. I also froze the ice packs on the coldest setting my freezer had.One minor improvement I would make is adding an on/off slider to the temp gauge to that it doesn’t run the batteries down.Insulin is best stored between 36°F to 46°F. I will update my review with how long the cooler stays 46°F or lower.

Insulated travel cooler
This is a lot larger than other insulin coolers that I have. It is the best one. The thermometer reading on the cover is spot on. You can use this for travel. TSA approved. It holds a lot of diabetic supplies. The case is a hard shell and protects your supplies. I am very happy with this new cooler. I would give it ten stars if I could. I’m ordering more for my other family members who have the need for a cooler like this one. No more flimsy cloth bags to hold everything in place. Two thumbs up.

Works great for traveling with meds
Finding a TSA-approved medication container has been such a help since starting a medication that requires being chilled. Very glad to have it. Have only traveled with it once, but it went well. Hoping it holds up well over time!

Durable and light weight
Durable hard case gives my medication the protection it needs yet still light weight. The material on the ice packs are well made. Secure zipper. I like this one.
