Ok so while some products on this site may not work as intended this mat does. i also bought the earthing rod to use wit the mat.I put this at the foot of my bed, above the sheet so my mid calfs/ankles and feet rest on it skin to mat.I connected the mat to the grounding wire, stuck the rod in the socket and ran the wire outside my bedroom window and stuck it deep into the ground.First night i had weird dreams, typically i dont dream and if i do i never remember them.2nd night and every night after no dreams, yay. just slumber, yay. i look at my fitbit every day to see if my sleep is altered and it is, i have gained about an hour of more deeper sleep every day, less waking up at night as well. (iwill point out that sleep isn’t an issue for me, it is my friend and typically strive to get enough of it.)I noticed that when on the mat it relaxes me right out, kinda like when u drink a glass of wine, that same feeling i get, super relaxed, and less stressed.I don’t have any major illnesses, my health is good so all i need is this size mat, don’t need anything bigger, i just sleep with it every night.The other major thing i noticed is that it moves my lymph like no bodies business! i was actually seeing someone at my chiropractors office for homeopathic lymph treatment n accupuncture, i started that 3/4 wks before i got the mat and it was slow going, it did help so ikept going. i noticed that while at the chiro office they used a grounding mat under my feet so from that i thought i would look into getting one for myself at home. I did and by the 2nd nite the lymph was back to normal, zero lymph issues infact. Loving that part alone, that and the improved sleep.the other thing it helped was it removed any stiffness and slight achiness, i was taking a supplement for that daily that worked but i found i don’t need to take the supplement for that any longer. so that’s cool.One more thing, i read that some individuals can feel a lil tingling, well im one of them, so that’s pretty cool, i only feel it in my feet and lower leg area, ever so subtle, lil zaps of something or other, which i didn’t think i would feel anything, but who knew.Unfortunately i do not get outside in this hot FL weather, i simply love the beach but am not outside that much so this helps tremedously. When i do go out though i will def remove the shoes and let the earth do it’s work.

Honestly I had no real expectations because I thought it might just be another fad. I seem to be easily influenced by things I see on social media! But I didn’t buy the more expensive ones as advertised – I figured I would start with a cheaper one to see if it actually did anything. I normally get up at least twice a night to go to the bathroom. The first 2 nights I used this grounding mat I didn’t get up at all! I did need to urinate quickly when I woke up, but seriously sleeping so soundly those first 2 nights made me a believer. I have neuropathy I’m 1 foot and I noticed a difference in that feeling less tingly also.Now it’s been about a week and I can say I am sleeping better and feeling better when I wake up. Not sure how to explain it but I’m a believer. I would recommend this product to skeptics just to start out with a cheaper product- but worked for me!

Useful Mat for Sleeping and Computer Chair
I really like this mat! I keep it under one layer of sheet where my calves rest at night. I have verified with a digital multimeter that this mat does indeed, even through a layer of sheet, reduce body electrical charge. It’s great to know that I have an anti-inflammatory mat all the while I’m sleeping and don’t have to go barefoot much of the time to try to “replenish” electrons, but rather can more or less get electrons most of the time with mats. I also keep a mat on my computer chair which similarly reduces body electrical charge. This mat came for free with the Earthing book by Ober, Sinatra and Zucker. It’s great to have a mat close to where electronics are. The reality of electrical fields is that proximity is king. You do not want to live near mainway power lines likes those that track over mountaintops or in the middle of nowhere or somewhat distant from yet parallel to a highway. That’s because they give off a massive electrical field which is more powerful the closer you are to them. This is very dangerous and palpable. Appliances like printers and computers are similar; they give off fields which amplify evermore the closer you get to the device.I used to be worried about Wi-Fi routers but it seems that they give off radio waves. However, electrical lines like extension cords and cords in your walls will give off an EMF field, as will lights, radios, DVD players, TVs, appliances, and anything electrical. It helps to have an EMF detector to see just how powerful these fields are and how far out they go. This is particularly useful to figure out if your sleeping area is free enough of electromagnetic fields (especially near the wall), and as well to figure out if an area where you sit for long periods of time has strong EMFs (and from where the EMFs originate). It doesnt work. I used for a month with no benefit or noticed difference so I tested it on a multi meter and it isnt working. No way to tell when plugged in. Very disappointed.
