Durable / Tough
This alligator was purchased for a 3.5 year old lab who loves to chew her toys…. usually succeeding in tearing them into multiple pieces. Balls are the preference, but his alligator has replaced the others without a doubt… 2 weeks since given to this enthusiastic chewer, it is all intact. … well the alligator nose and tail is roughed up…but the squeaker remains and the white eyes remain… and the chew toy is loved! This exceeded any expectations!

Exactly what it says, indestructible
My son has an itty bitty pittie baby and although I love my grandson, he can tear a toy open in 3 seconds. My other dog’s toy basket has diminished greatly. He received another “indestructible” toy for christmas and although it did take him a few hours, he did manage to tear it up also. I purchased this a month or so ago and it’s still holding strong. It is not a soft toy and rather heavy. If throwing in the house, expect a loud them and it would break things if accidently hit. I also do not recommend stepping on it in the dark, it hurts. However, he has not been able to tear it up, so their claim is true.

Durable but a little boring
My dog obliterates all toys within hours. Sometimes less. This toy has lasted several weeks and is completely intact. Durability is a 5 but the fun factor is probably a 3. He’s just not that interested in it because it is more rigid and hard to squeak. He still plays with it almost every day but loses interest and moves onto something else fairly quickly.

Our Dogs love these toys. It’s been two weeks and the squeaky is still inside, they chew and play with them daily. My dogs (Weimaraners, big rough dogs) have really enjoyed this toy. I placed some Liver toothpaste on the toy and they chewed even harder. I have ordered two more and placed in gift closet. Price was good, toy is great!!

Finally- a dog toy that actually IS indestructible
I have two large pit-husky-shepherd mixes that are extremely aggressive chewers. I have lost count of how many “heavy-duty” and “indestructible” dog toys I have gotten that they have destroyed within 10 minutes. The only ones that survive are the hard as a rock rubber king type that don’t squeak- and because they don’t squeak, they aren’t really interested in them.I bought this one, the unicorn and the shark for Christmas. Almost a month later, and not only have they not destroyed it, THE SQUEAKER IS STILL INTACT. They live these things and chomp on them constantly, but they just can’t kill it. As you can see from the pics, they have gnawed the head and tail some and the edges are a little rough- I plan to just file those down a little so they don’t become sharp. The body itself that contains the squeaker is basically pristine still. This toy is actually worth your money- do not hesitate to buy it!

Suitable for Power Chewers
Don’t let this kids innocent face fool you. He has pooped out a pair of socks, half a shirt, a denim rope and various squeakers. He is 80 pounds of destuction. But I think he has met his match with this toy. The head and tail are made of nylabone type stuff, and the middle is some sort of really thick rubber. I think the head and tail are all one piece, because he has yet to decapitate it, and it’s been three days. Not many toys survive that long around here. Especially ones with squeakers. And this one has a really good squeaker that still works. He cannot get to it at all. It’s actually right in the middle of the body. I washed and inspected the toy before I gave it to my kid. I didn’t even know it had a squeaker. You have to press (chomp) it pretty hard, but it’s there, and it’s loud, and it surprised all of us — and made the kid want to tear the guts out of that thing. But it has survived. I will say that the rubber part is really strong smelling at first. It smelled like new rubber tires, not bacon. I still don’t know how it tastes. Even after I washed it, and it still smelled like tires. I was skeptical, and wondered if I should even let him play with it, but I handed it over with a little peanut butter on it. The smell did not work on my predator. Also, the smell is slowly dissipating. A really nice touch was that this toy came in a lovely, giftable box. They also included a few little animae stickers. We’re pretty happy.

Sturdy dog toy
My dog used to be a tough chewer & wish I purchased this when she was younger. She’s almost 8 & she chews on this occasionally. It’s very sturdy & no pieces have broken off yet. Squeaker is a great added feature as well.
