good size
This is a good size bag for the cost. I am feeding baby Quaker parrots with this formula which mixes up nicely. Just add warm water and you have an instant food the baby birds love. They are screaming right before the next feeding for more. Makes very strong, alert, and healthy babies. I will be getting more of this brand soon.

Worth Every Penny
I find this stuff easy to mix, and it seems to go further then other formula I have bought. But most importantly, it’s helping raise strong healthy birds. I’m pleased with it. I got an amazing deal, and this item deserves more then 5 stars. It has an ok smell, and my birds seem to enjoy it, and digest this formula very well.I wanted to give an update on this, since I used if for my newest clutch of baby green cheek conures and quaker.I truly believe this bird formula helps with having chubbier babies.My clutch before this was pretty thin and they were on Kaytee Exact, and this time around using Tropican, I feel the extra weight on them.My Quakers usually turn out to be 70 or 80 grams at 4 weeks… well this last baby quaker (only 1 born in clutch) just turned 4 weeks and he is weighing in at 126 grams.That’s a huge difference, and really makes me believe this formula is better for my birds.

Quality Food for raising Parrots
I’ve purchased a total of 5 times in the last couple years. I have successfully raised over 100 Sun Conures, Green Cheeks and Parrotlets. I mix with non flavor Pedialyte instead of water. By mixing with Pedialyte it adds electrolytes and boosts their immune system, in my opinion. Great price

Great supplement and occasional healthy treat
My Green Cheek Conure had this as a baby. I still give it to him from time to time and it’s a wonderful tool for bonding but take care to not hand-feed grown birds as it will make them hormonal. Adding a little to his plate makes him very happy though.

Amazing
I have been using wxaact for years. Although, it is a wonderful product, my baby bird did so enough enthusiasm for it. I decided to give Tropican a try. WOW! What a difference in behavior. She gulped this formula down in the seconds flat. I will be using Tropican from now onAs far as the product it self.It is easy to use. It smells wonderful, and has a nice creamy consistency. It is almost like smooth, melted, creamy peanut butter, with water.

We have raised many beautiful and healthy parrot babies on this formula and it is everything the babies will ever need! Thr price is great for the high quality we get out of it. High caloric density means babies get the best nutritional value to grow healthy and strong. It is so easy to mix and the babies go crazy for it! It has a grains smell to it, pleasant for the human nose too.

I found a special kind of woodpecker with a very long beak , it is a northern flicker but with a skinny long beak about 5 inches , he would not eat anything, but noticed him drinking water, so I bought a small bag of this stuff, and he ate the mix, so I bought the big bag, and mixed 2 spoonfuls of the powder with dried ground black soldiers larvae mixed with water, so far he is alive after a year, but for some reason , he is losing his feathers. I recommend this powder, as I have used before to raise a baby house sparrow.

My budgie broke her beak and was unable to eat the regular budgie foods cause they use their beaks to break the seeds and eat them. Vet recommended I feed this to my bird with a syringe. It’s been going great. The consistency is nice, and she gobbles it up. I recommend this even for adult birds!
