A little short, but made well & inexpensive
My husband wears a 40 waist pants. The size large in these Hanes shorts with pockets fit him well and are reportedly comfortable. The material is not as soft as some similar products, but is acceptable, particularly given the inexpensive cost of the shorts. A couple of inches longer in length would be preferred, but for the cost, and to wear around the house and do yard-work in, these shorts are fine. The illustration represents their length well. I’ve purchased them in black, navy, (both 100% cotton), and steel gray (90% cotton, 10% polyester), and am awaiting a pair in camo green heather (50% cotton, 50% polyester). You should check the info. In the description prior to purchasing if the material content is of concern to you. Fabric of 100% cotton fabric is more breathable, but with addition of polyester is less apt to shrink and to wrinkle, and tends to be more durable, which is why it’s added to cotton in so many garments. Note that the cost of these shorts vary depending upon which ones you select.I’ve washed both the 100% cotton and the cotton & polyester shorts. After washing I dried them in the clothes dryer for a few minutes and then hung them to dry the rest of the way. They all laundered fine, with no significant shrinkage, wrinkling, or loose threads. It’s amazing how long clothing lasts when you can find the time to hang them after a few minutes in the dryer, rather than baking them until the end of the dryer cycle! 😊

Good quality shorts, especially for the gym…
These are a nice pair of shorts, I use them when I go to the gym, primarily. They’re comfortable, have side pockets and the pull string will come in handy once the elastic band starts to wear down. I highly recommend them, ordered 2 pair initially, in process of buying 2 more pair.

Value for money, hands down the best shorts I’ve ever purchased. Great for casual hanging around, but also work well in a pinch for a run or a workout. Love the softness. Also, compared to other workout shorts I own, you can wear these after you workout and not stink to high heaven and need to change immediately. Love it so much I bought several more

Scratchy like wool.
I don’t think I’ll ever understand why, if it comes out of China. Their cotton poly blend products are scratchy and feel like wool. Same thing with so called 100% cotton items. They will be stiff until the 87th washing and be scratchy as well. The fit is ok albeit awkward, feeling like you have put them on backwards. Baggy in front with very little room in the butt. Makes me wonder if they do this on purpose just to dig at old round eye. Kind of like when they put lead in their exported toothpaste to us. Or the poison dog food they sent us a few years ago. I tried to boycott Chinese made products, but when greedy corporations have damn near everything made over there to increase their profits. It’s pretty difficult to do. So, take what you will from this review. Hope you learn something.

I liked that these sweat shorts were not expensive, they look great and are super comfortable. I would recommend these to anyone who doesnt care to pay for a popular name brand logo printed on the side, but still wants the look and comfortability. These shorts are well made and should last many washing without issue.

Bought as nightwear so cotton was important so many others are all polyester. Quite a baggy fit but waist elastic is good & drawstring option is there or can be tucked right away in waistband.At that price will buy another pair soon.
