Hanes is known for great products. These are soft and warm. They run a little large, even after shrinking them in the wash and dry cycles. I highly recommend but order a size smaller.

Basic but true to size, fit, and color
These are basic open leg sweat pants.What I like: Comfy, long, soft and true to color and size. I normally wear a medium so that’s what I ordered (5’6″, 135lbs). They fit big (but not overly) so are very comfy without me having to worry about shrinking (they’ve been through 1 wash and are still big). I have the purple and the color is as pictured. They are long on me – so drag a bit, but I like it so when I sit they don’t ride up and still keep my ankles warm.Note: I read the description and was aware that they don’t have pockets — but not sure I mind too much as the hips sit smooth and don’t bulge which happens in my other sweatpants that do have pockets. Also, I know they didn’t have a drawstring. So they are loose on me but comfortable and don’t fall down (I wear them on my hips so they are kinda perfectly big for me). However, if they were any looser, I’d need a drawstring so that’s something to keep in mind (if your weight fluctuates).Keep in mind, they’re not flattering, but are any sweatpants really? I wanted comfortable, soft and warm – and these fit the bill (not too heavy and not too light).

I love these pants! They’re medium weight and very comfortable. I wish the legs were a touch longer (I’m 5’9″). But, they’re not too short. I bought an XL. They’re loose and baggy, but that’s what I wanted. I bought a matching sweatshirt. Great for wearing around the house, to the gym, or even running errands. I want more.

No pockets. Add pockets! Why do people think women don’t want pockets?Weight is good. The pilling isn’t horrible. Length is a little short by an inch or so. The waistband doesn’t seem to hold its shape too well, but they’re still wearable. Probably why they don’t have pockets. If there was any weight dragging down, you might moon someone.

Oh my gosh, so comfy!
These are super comfy pants. They are cozy warm. I washed them in cold, delicate cycle. Dried on extra low. I actually love that they don’t have pockets or a drawstring. I wear indoor boots during the winter, because it is very cold where I live. These are perfect and are loose over them. The lining is so soft. I’m short, but I didn’t order petite. The standard length is great with my boots. They are long on me, but I wanted them to be. I could have probably ordered a large instead of xlarge, but I wear knit boxers indoors during the winter. I liked these pants so much, I ordered another pair in another color. I highly recommend if you’re looking for comfy house pants or even going out in them.

These sweats are so cozy. They are a little long and had to roll the waist up, but worth it. Will definitely get another pair.

Odd fit and shrunk 3inches
5’2” and 160 lbs. and bought 4 pair of these for $6 per pair. I needed some to lounge around at home, and even after reading the negative reviews, figured it was worth giving them a try as the price was right. Because of my height, I always pre-wash and machine dry washable pants at least 3 times before shortening them. Also, I am losing weight so don’t want to spend a lot of money on clothes right now and look for things I can wear while my weight goes up and down.First of all, after washing and drying each pair 3 times, they each shrunk about 3 inches. That is actually pretty normal for sweats. They were about 4 1/2 inches too long, so that is all right for me. Also, they were washed in warm water with no liquid fabric softener, and dried on a normal cotton cycle using dryer sheets. The fabric and colors came out great with little piling.As for the fit, they actually fit just like the ones in the add. They are quite slim at the hips and wide in the legs. They also are short geared (length from the waist to the crotch area), so could be uncomfortable for someone medium height or taller. The waist elastic is fairly loose yet the hips fit snug. I have a more hour-glass shape so may fit better on someone with smaller hips or flatter butt. The worst part is how wide the legs are, with no tapering at all. It can be very unflattering. I am a seamstress, so can easily shorten the pants. As for the wide legs, there is no side Sean that could easily be taken in. The cheap price makes it worthwhile for me to spend the time changing them. I will probably unstitch the sides of the waistband, make side seams that taper a little, also taper the inner leg seams, tighten the waistband elastic, and should end up with nice looking, warm, and comfortable sweats that should last me through the rest of my weight loss process without spending a lot of money.On the positive side, if you are a slimmer built person who like the wider legs style or would just add elastic to the bottom of the legs, and can get these sweats at a great price, I do recommend them. The colors are great and the fabric is soft and comfy, warm but not too warm.Review update – I have finally worn a pair of these sweatpants. I’m 5’ 2” tall, 160 lbs., and hourglass shape. These sweatpants fit a little snug when first on, but after awhile fit just right around the waist and hips for me (a petite in pants). The rise (length from the natural waistline to the crotch area) is perfect, almost a little short. Also, after being washed and dried 3 times, the length is still 2 1/2” too long. That means these pants should fit a short person fine after hemming them, and an average person perfect in length and if they like a lower waistline.

Runs Big!
I ordered a size small as usual but it was Huge so I washed it in hot water & dried in a hot dryer. It shrunk in length but the waist is so big… they fall down. The only reason I won’t bother to return them is they were only 10 bucks & it’s not worth the trouble. I’ll find someone to give them to. They seem to be made well but are quite baggy.

The sweatpant was nice and warm, and washed really well. The size was spot on! However, I was expecting it to be a straight leg cut, but was disappointed to find that it was very flared.

These fit okay in the waist and length, but quite a wide leg. Also waist band is kind of yellowish coloured while legs are bright white. A bit of a crooked front seam near top too. They seem to be more of a knock off then usual Hanes quality item. Not returning them though because, for the price, they are good enough for around the house.

Ugly pants but man are they ever COMFY. I wear these so often and I am also so comfortable. Will be repurchasing in more colours for sure. They are a bit on the large size though! I don’t mind this but if you’re looking for them to fit snug then I would size down for sure.
