Will I compare this math to my friends and other masks like it they’re not as durable they’re not nearly as well made and they don’t have the extra breathing attachment it’s that come for the891-2522 nostrils

Great mask
Love my new mask. Love the full viewing it gives. greatest feature is the adjustable breathing tubes. As a disabled Marine I am un able to swim facing forward due to the fact my neck is all steel plates and rods and can not turn head or look up. I can only swim backwards. But when i rotate Breathing tubes forward facing I can swim forward and am able to breath. I would give 5 stars but there is 1 thing that i dislike. If you have COPD or Asma It is a little difficult to inhale Not saying you cant just harder. But other then that love my new mask which I am able to swim forward thus enjoying my daily Therapeutic swim sessions.

Hard to Breathe with
Once it was put together, which was kind of hard in itself, breathing with it underwater was very difficult.All of two feet of water and it felt like my lungs were failing me. You literally have to breathe in with all you got. And, I ordered an XL but didn’t feel that way. I felt like it was too small for my averaged size face.

Better than single snorkel for pool swimming
It is a benefit to have all fresh air through the snorkels, and exhale out of the mask itself. However, in order to do so, you have to create enough pressure to open the check valves both on inhale and exhale. This force is substantial, and so it really exercises your diaphragm. There could be issues for people with different size faces, since it is a ‘one size fits all’.

Better tan the single tube full face models
I like that your exhale leaves a dedicated valve in the mask. So less CO2 is trapped in the mask. It also has a dedicated water release valve. So water leaks are easier to expel.

Impossible to assemble tubes without using a hammer and nailset
Had to punch out a pivot pin from each side to allow for the tubes to seat into the mask sides. Poor design. Once the tubes were inserted, each of the removed pivot pins were reinserted to hold tubes in place properly. I like the mask, but not at all impressed with poor design that challenged assembly. Good thing I am mechanical and have tools.
