I got this Bruboses Military Smart Watch and here is my take after using it for a few months now:You’ll get all the usual stuff that is typical to a smart watch; like fitness tracking, Bluetooth calling, smart notifications & possibly GPS. These features will allow you to track your steps, monitor your heart rate, see your texts and calls without digging into your pocket. It will monitor you even when you are sleeping.The Bluetooth calling is decent and easily pairs to my android phone, allowing me to make and receive phone calls and notifications. I’ve been able to listen to music through this connection as well.It has a flashlight that is surprisingly bright and works well. While I have not specifically tested the battery life, I can say it does last for long timeIt’s basically a smartwatch for the outdoorsy type and looks like it’s built to last. If you are a weekend warrior this watch will track your steps, blood pressure, pulse, etc all while looking awesome with your cargo pants.Wait for it…….However, don’t expect it to be as fancy as an Apple or Samsung Watch. I can’t speak for Apple products so I cannot confirm whether if the apps and/or all functions are created equal, but I can say software updates are infrequent on Android. The last one causes my watch to buzz about every 5 minutes once the battery gets below 20% (Annoying!)The bottom lineI am happy and it suits my needs just fine and I would recommend it to others. But do your own research and make sure it’s got the features you actually need or want.

Beautifully designed watch body, a price leader with full features and functions
The metal watch upper casing is cast with precision and style. It’s a wonderful blend of sporty design without looking too much like a “military watch”. There is an orange border around the GPS Activity button on the left side of the case that brings a splash of stylish color (looks great with an orange silicone watch band!). The seller does not specify the pixel dimensions of the watch but the screen is definitely high-resolution because the small items on the screen show up sharp and defined. The bezel rim around the dial face is a bit wider than most other watches and contributes to the watch being on the large size for watches with a 1.43” screen. We are talking millimeters difference in the diameter and thickness but I think it’s worth mentioning to adjust expectactions.Let’s take a look at the operations that are possible by swiping the main screen. A swipe down pulls down the quick menu that permits selecting up to twelve icons (six on each screen) to access functions of your choice out of the twenty one available options. This is a very nice feature that most watches do not offer and can really help with quickly accessing functions that you use often.A swipe to the right pulls over the notification screen to display any texts that have come in.A swipe from the bottom displays the 15 “shortcut cards” that can be scrolled up or down. The list can be rearranged in order by dragging a card on the watch up or down on the screen. These shortcut cards are a new way of presenting the data in most of the watches I have reviewed, instead of scrolling left and right with a full-screen display of the function. Usually a left/right scrolling watch will have 5-6 screens of functions. The shortcut cards on the Bruboses watch take up about half the screen. Most of the cards can be touched on the screen to open sub-screens with data. There are a lot more detailed data available for viewing IN THE WATCH than most other watches in this price range. Among the various shortcut cards are displays for barometric altimeter, emotion, stress, blood pressure, world clock – this tracking information is not available on many lower cost smart watches.One very nifty shortcut card is the one for “Workout Records”. You can view most of the data that appears in the phone app actually IN THE WATCH! The tracking is done by the GPS in the watch instead of using the phone GPS. One good indicator of the benefit of having the GPS in the watch is how quickly the watch will lock onto a GPS signal so you can start your workout – Fast! An accurate map of your route during your workout will display on the watch screen! That map display in the watch is unusual in this price range for smart watches and is one of the prime fitness tracking features that sets this Bruboses watch above watches in its price range.Swiping to the left will display all the menu items in a scrollable list format (there are several options for the way the menu items display; I find the List view the easiest to navigate). Worth nothing in the list of functions: voice assistant through the phone, and detailed weather (current and forecast). The weather screen has a couple sub-screens that present a LOT of information: temperatures hourly for the day, then high/low temps for the next six days with weather icons (sunny, cloudy, rain, etc.). Additional functions: compass, breathing exercise, and the usual other timer and system functions.Step Tracking – Something to mention to temper expectations – I found that tracking a walk outdoors with the activity tracking function is accurate down to the step count. But around the house, it’s hard to depend on the step count exactly. It depends upon how the watch counts the movements. One watch company that responded to my inquiry stated that their watch doesn’t start counting steps until ten steps are taken and the won’t add the steps until there are at least 30 steps in sequence. So short movements around the house don’t get measured. One watch I wore while brushing my teeth added over 100 steps to the count without my moving from the sink! So for daily around-the-house and office tracking, I look at the daily step count number not as an absolute tracking of each step, but an idea of general movement to compare.Sleep Tracking – this is an important function because it monitors you while you are not awake to check the accuracy! I wore this watch along with another watch that uses the same phone app and the sleep tracking data for sleep segments was within a couple minutes of each other. That is a good indication that this watch is accurately recording your sleep and awake. There is slight variations in how each watch determines if sleep is deep, light, or REM. That begins to hit the limitations of what you can expect for accuracy from a watch that is trying to determine your sleep from small movements.Battery – the battery on this watch is among the largest in this class of watch. I saw the battery deplete at a rate of about 15% per day without using it for calls or Always On Display. I like to have the Always On Display activated and I get about four days use before it needs to recharge.Back button – the lower button on the right side of the watch normally functions as the “Back Button” when you have a menu open. This is very helpful to easily get back to the main screen. This button is also programmable so when the watch is displaying the main dial face, this button can be assigned a function for quick access, like AI Assistant or weather.Watch bands – The box includes two watch bands for the model with the orange highlight around the Activity button on the left side. One band is a beefy grey silicone band and the other is a very nice quality metal link band. A tool is included to remove links to size it to your wrist.The Glory Fit Pro phone app is among my top favorites because the data it presents is simple to understand. Its easy to display a specific day for sleep, steps, etc.Another set of features in the phone app worth mentioning:-The number of bio-tracking functions that can be set to automaticaly record continuous readings are four: heart rate, blood oxygen, stress, and sedentary reminder.-The alarm volume is adjustable. On high, it’s pretty loud.-The Timer has a vibration pulse that starts out light and gets stronger – and doesn’t stop at just three pulses. This provides a much better chance you will notice the timer alert without an audible signal!-Alarms can be set from the phone in addition to the watch for convenience.The selection of dial faces is one of the largest and most diverse in this price range. That means more likelihood you can find a couple that you’ll like.Well, I usually add a “Areas for Improvement” section at the end of my reviews. But for this watch, it’s pretty well raised the bar about as high as it goes in this price range. If you like the design of the watch, the functionality delivers top-level features in this price range.
