I am an ultra runner so this watch was a bucket list item. The battery life is leaps and bounds better than the Fenix 7 that I did have, almost a 20 day difference! The quality is great and made top notch. This watch is $200 less than the previous model, but no shortcuts were taken. How can you beat a better watch for less money!? So the price is spot on! There are so many great features on this watch to help me get through a 5k race or a 50 mile ultra adventure. It connected straight to my phone via the Garmin app, and it connected quick! The watch weighs just enough to know you have a beast on your wrist, but not enough to slow you down. 10 out of 10!

Game-changing upgrade from the Garmin Fenix 6s Sapphire
The Garmin Enduro is a significant upgrade from the Fenix 6 Sapphire. The primary issue I had with the Fenix was its limited battery life, which the Enduro addresses remarkably well. I can now enjoy nearly 3 weeks of consistent heavy usage, compared to the 3 days I had with the Fenix 6S. This improvement eliminates the frustration of starting a workout only to find my watch running low on juice.The Enduro 3 also introduces several new features that enhance the user experience. Training Readiness and Endurance Score, both absent from the Fenix 6, are particularly useful for me. I can now assess my training readiness and plan my workouts accordingly, or opt for a rest day if the analytics tell me that a rest day would be more beneficial. Additionally, the sleep tracking on the Enduro 3 seems more refined and accurate.Despite its larger size (10mm more), I find the Enduro 3 lighter than my old Fenix. However, I don’t mind the extra bulk since it offers more features and improves the solar charging capability over the Garmin watches with smaller faces. A notable difference to the Fenix 8 (which I looked at closely before choosing the Enduro) is that the Enduro 3 lacks voice features. But, as currently implemented, I consider the voice feature a gimmick that I would rarely use. I would only consider voice functionality if Garmin integrated a cellular connection and call-making capabilities, but that hasn’t been announced for the Fenix line. Hopefully, that is something they are considering adding since I’d like to do workouts near my home without dragging along my cell phone.Overall, I am thoroughly satisfied with the latest version of the Enduro by Garmin. While it may be larger, its lightweight design and exceptional battery life make it an ideal choice for my need of a no-frills fitness tracker with remarkable battery life. If you’re looking for something like that, I highly recommend the Enduro 3.

Better than Fenix 8
This is a Fantastic watch! Purchased after returning Fenix 8 for various problems I had with Fenix 8.Not only does it work perfectly it kills Fenix 8 on battery life.Very light and comfortable to wear all day and night.Love that it has a narrow bezel compared to Fenix.Solar works great and actually charges battery.Very happy with the Enduro 3 performance and price!

Worthy upgrade from Fenix 7x Sapphire Solar
Extremely happy with my Enduro 3 and have zero regrets coming from a January 2022 Fenix 7x Sapphire Solar. I had some reservations switching from Fenix to Enduro but was mostly focused on battery life, solar, and cost. Could not justify the price increase for a speaker and microphone I would never use. Read through this entire review as this is based on real world everyday experience. This includes two new features not highlighted in any professional review so far.Favorite new feature of Enduro 3: Charging speed and this is something no professional review has covered so far. The reason why I was so interested in longer battery life is because my Fenix 7x Sapphire Solar took very long to charge from 20% or so to 100%. That was regardless of a 5-watt or 20-watt charger with USB-A to USB-C adapter. After wearing it for a few, charged the Enduro 3 from 74% to 100% in approximately 20 minutes using the native USB-C cable with a 20-watt charger. If you are on the fence between Enduro 3 and Fenix 8 Solar just for battery life, charging speed negates that. It does not appear solely based on the cable but the actual subsystem similar to how some EVs can charge at 150kW and others at 250kW.Second favorite new feature not professionally covered: Buddy charging! With the switch to USB-C, I can now charge my Enduro 3 using my iPhone 15 Pro on iOS 18. Charging this way is very fast taking it from 51 to 53% in less than three minutes.Pros:Screen: With the change of the solar mechanism, the MIP is extremely clear. I never realized how unclear the Fenix 7x Sapphire Solar was until the Enduro 3.Solar: It is much more sensitive than the Fenix 7x Sapphire Solar and actually works. Left it out in the sun for a total of 151k lux and it went from 50 to 51% over three hours but showing the same 12 days. It never overheated even though the casing became warm to the touch. It actually faintly charges indoors and even during dinner at a restaurant under overhead heating elements.Shortcomings: Would not consider these cons. Just areas of improvement or clarification.Battery: Believe it or not, the Enduro 3 does disappoint with battery. What is not published is if pulse ox is turned on to continuous, the battery is reduced to 25 days. This is not a deal breaker for me but was hoping for more. The Enduro 3 is more efficient and has a larger battery so the 27% increase aka 6 day added from the Fenix 7x Sapphire Solar is still an improvement.Band: Not a fan of the mesh band and swapped it to my Garmin silicon band. It weighs more but I prefer consistency to the point of using the same strap hole with five holes showing.Watch faces: This is an area of improvement for the latest generation Enduro 3 and Fenix 8. All I wanted is an exact copy of my old stripped-down watch face. The closest I have gotten is what is pictured with the Enduro 3 on the right and the Fenix 7x Sapphire Solar on the left. What is currently configured is doable but would prefer to get rid of the lines. Not sure why there is a green accent color on the outside either and would have preferred a complete black case to wear with suits.New interface: It took me longer to get setup to the way I had my prior Fenix. Especially turning off all the nagging smartwatch alerts. The new interface is ok but not sure what was wrong with the old one.Observations: Garmin must have read my Fenix 7x Sapphire Solar review because the Enduro 3 buttons are very crisp.Asks of Garmin: It would be great if there was something similar to iOS that shows what is consuming the most battery of the watch including during activities. Charge history with charging time and solar energy recapture. Battery health would also be a welcome addition. Could even imagine Garmin doing a Garmin Badge with points for capturing x amount of solar in a month during activities.

I moved to Garmin’s Enduro 3 from Apple Watch in order to become more focused on supporting my outdoor adventures (gravel biking, mountaineering, hiking, scrambling and climbing). The Apple Watch worked well with my other Apple tech but was more basic and “consumer level” than what I was looking for in an activity device.What it doesn’t do well, so far:1) Interact with Apple text and phone messages. Not a big deal with me as I typically didn’t use the Apple Watch to respond to texts anyway. I can still receive messages on the Garmin but cannot respond directly.2) Find my iPhone – I haven’t found a way of using the Garmin to ping my phone when I’m trying to find it. Again, not a big deal.3) Watch faces and apps – not nearly the depth of options with Garmin. I’ve changed the Garmin face a few times but keep going back to the base, out of the case face as it seems to work for me.What it does well or better than the Apple Watch:1) Battery life – amazing. I charged it up to 100% and almost a week later still show 22 days of battery life. I believe this can go at least the month with regular to heavy use.2) Connects to Wahoo Kickr trainer. Picked up the bluetooth connection quickly and easily3) Connects to Strava – again, easily4) Biometrics – I’m always aware that there are potential accuracy issues with everything. The information I’m getting from the Garmin is way beyond what the Apple Watch provided and has already changed my training approach. I’m learning so much more than I had access to with Apple.5) Weight – despite the very large size (especially compared to the Apple Watch) this is light, comfortable, and almost unnoticeable on my wrist. The band is very comfortable although I wish I could find some better sources for additional bands.So far so good. Liking the Garmin Enduro 3.

To date this is the best smart watch on the market, if you can afford it and are actually interested in it’s capabilitys…. And your not prepared to wait 2-3 years for a sos gps feature and improved battery then get it now.It has unlimited battery life when used in battery saving mode and getting some sun, heavy usage will give me two weeks but it averages 30 days otherwise.It can detect your sp02 while sleeping to see if you sat low meaning you Mau not even realize you have sleep apnea (very real even for in shape people who don’t snore)It tracks so much, allows me to not have my phone while running and keep the phone in the locker at the gym (take calls, play music, track workouts, tell you what weight what set what Rep etc).The metrics are so good it taught me how to run… Never ran before and I’m doing 5k in 27min a month in.It just does so much I need chat gbt to tell me how to use it because the manuals massive.

Lo compre para mi esposa que es corredora de montaña (trailrunning) y esta encantada con el, a mi me parece un poco caro comparado con las versiones anteriores, pero por ver su cara de felicidad creo que lo vale. Tiene medio mes de uso, ahora espero que la calidad se refleje en su duración a través del tiempo sino modificaré mi comentario. Aún no lo usa en una carrera importante (de más de 24 horas) para medir la duración real de la bateria.
