No more sticky spit up!
This pacifier has been a lifesaver to get medicine into my baby. He kept spitting out the medicine when given just by syringe and making a sticky mess. The nurse tried to sneak in the medicine in the side of his mouth with a regular binky and he did the same thing. This pacifier puts the medicine down his cheek instead of just in his mouth and he doesn’t try to push it out. Reduces air going in and the urge to push medicine back out. The plunger slowly moves down on its own as he suckles and you just have to hold it steady while he swallows. Occasionally I have to push the plunger gently to keep it moving. When the plunger is all the way down I wiggle it out and let him get the medicine in the tube until I hear the sound change then plug it and let him keep the paci for a few mins to let the medicine go all the way down. Super easy to clean between doses. Worth every penny!Cons- no marking for 1.5ml. Weird increments in general. Unnatural shape, breastfed babies aren’t keen on the design.

Our baby loves taking medicine this way! We have used it for Tylenol and gripe water. Makes it easy and hassle free. My only complaint is that the binki should be something other than clear, maybe bright orange? We have lost the binky and have no idea where it went. It is somewhere in our house. We had to buy a new one. The clear can be hard to find if you drop it.

Yes, you need this!
Hands down the best product! You need this if you are giving your baby or toddler medicine. It is so easy to use and the baby takes it like a normal pacifier. Once baby has a strong enough suck you should not have to push on the plunger. Also other syringes work for it too. This is a must have.

A necessity!
I got one of these when my son was a baby and it worked well then and now he’s a toddler and we still use this when he has to take medicine and it works even better now. We actually had to buy it again because the place where you insert the syringe ripped and the syringe would no longer stay in there, but we’ve had it for a couple years so I don’t expect it to last forever. I will continue to buy this for all my pregnant friends!

Useful if your baby won’t just take a syringe
So overall this is useful if your baby won’t just take a syringe. It was a little difficult to get the filled syringe into the little silicone paci opening where the syringe goes in, it’d be a better design if the hole was just a little bit wider. The paci and syringe combo are both normal sized and the paci itself is good quality.

Me ayudó mucho para administrar media amento a bb de un mes, es muy fácil de usar, la bb agarra muy fácil el chupon porque es suave, la jeringa no requiere de mucha fuerza por lo que a veces la misma succión del bb hace que el medicamento vaya saliendo y el agujero es suficientemente grande para que cualquier medicamento pase, el medicamento que estoy dando es “granulado” como en polvo entonces cuando intentaba dar con los biberones se tapaba la tetina y no salía, con este sale Perfecto, también intenté dar con geringa pero mi bebé escupía el medicamento o se le salía sin querer y con esto se lo toma todo. Me salvó!! Muy recomendado

Before this purchase we struggled with baby taking his daily medicine and vitamins. We tried syringing into his cheek or squirting slowly while he was sucking a dummy but we’d find it would always be spat out or run down his chin.This medicine dummy has been a lifesaver! He now gets every drop of his medicine and vitamins saving worries of if he had enough or changing clothes.I’ll admit the syringe isn’t always the most secure in the dummy but we’ve never had any spills, we just make sure to keep pressure on it! What’s great as well is that you can use it with other universal syringes so I use the syringe supplied for vitamins and then swap it while keeping the dummy in his mouth with a standard syringe filled with medicine.I’ve never had an issue with keeping clean either and I’m very paranoid with this as my baby was extremely premature. I fill the syringe with soapy water and squirt through, rinse throughly and sterilise in cold water Milton.We bought this when it was £27 and I know probably costs nowhere near that to make and have seen cheaper but it is worth it and we will be buying it again at that price when or if we ever lose it or it deteriorates!*Was my review helpful?
