The item itself works great. The adhesive does not.
OK, people are correct when they say that the adhesive doesn’t work very well. My response to that is so what? Nobody ever heard of double sided tape? Nobody ever heard of Velcro? It also comes with a second holder, so theoretically, if you have one car, you could permanently mount it to the dashboard, and then when you get your next car, you can permanently mount it to that as well. Another thing that a lot of people don’t even mention is that it comes with a MagSafe sticker which I’ve never even seen before meaning that if you have a case on your phone, that’s not a MagSafe case, you can literally turn it into one. I think that’s a genius idea that more people should mention in their review. I gave it four stars because you’re right it doesn’t stick very well but once you fix that problem, everything else is fantastic. The phone stays nice and secure. It’s heavy duty. I’m very pleased with it and I would recommend it to other people just have some glue ready, double sided tape or Velcro and the problem is so very simple. Just because it doesn’t stick doesn’t mean it doesn’t work. The unit itself is fine. It’s the adhesive that’s the problem which is easily overcome.

Just received this today. I drive a dodge dart. I ordered the black one and first impressions are: it was so easy to install and so sturdy! I used the magnet option since the sticky options probably won’t hold up in the Texas heat. It’s nice to have those off to the side once the colder months come around again. My small town doesn’t have the best roads but my phone stays put throughout my whole drive! The pivot feature works very well to view my screen with navigation. Very impressed with this so far.
