I bought this to clean my face brushes. I was amazed at how clean they came out after using this. I use it every week to clean all my makeup brushes. I use a small amount of soap and wet the brush and twist the brush around a few times and rinse. It really does a deep cleaning on your brushes. No need to buy new brushes. Elder millennial here – I’ve always just used baby shampoo and my (clean) hands to wash my makeup brushes, eyelash curler, etc. For some reason this caught my eye and I figured I’d give it a shot – and it’s great. It does what you’d expect, saves my hands from yuck and getting dried out, air dries quickly and folds back up quite compactly to tuck in a drawer. I like the blue color too. I could absolutely live without this product, but it’s made life a bit easier – and honestly, I probably wash my brushes a bit more often than I used to. I still just use baby shampoo as my cleanser.

I love this! It’s so easy to use and it gets my makeup brushes clean in no time! I usually put a drop of shampoo in the bowl then fill it with warm water, wash the brush in the shampoo water until it gets really cloudy, then refill the bowl with plain water and wash the brush again the give it a good rinse. The reason I bought this makeup brush wash bowl was because it folds up when you’re not using it, and that’s such a helpful feature for storage.

I was so pleased with the first one that I ordered a second in a different color that I use for cleaning my art (watercolor and other media) brushes. The ability to fold them down does indeed save on space, which is especially important to me after a major downsizing. I much prefer this bowl design to the flat mat that I was previously using when cleaning my makeup brushes. Not only does the bowl reduce waste of a brush cleaning product (whether for makeup or art), it also contains the liquid. I appreciate the ability to hang this up on a hook (or even a clothes hanger) to let it dry completely before collapsing it for storage.
