Nice to use with pets. The non-slip back helps it to stay in place. If you wash, I would do delicate wash and air-dry to prevent the stitching from coming loose.

But there is damage due to packaging. It’s on there so good that it doesn’t pull off. It isn’t just tape it’s really attached to the fibers of the mat. It’s not really thick, it’s really flimsy but is a great topper for a couch or something as just protection.
