Great Addition to My First Aid Kit
I bought this little set as an Add-On item to put in my first aid kit that I keep in my car ($2.45 at the time of purchase). They are a bit smaller than I was expecting, but they are certainly functional and the compact size actually ended up being a plus for me because my little bag that I keep my supplies in is getting quite full these days. The measurements listed in the product description are the measurements from end to end — the scissors are 4″ long and the tweezers are 3.5″ long. The scissor blades are about 1.5″ long, so they wouldn’t work for cutting off clothes, but they do a nice job of cutting bandage supplies. The tweezers are angled and very sharp, and they are perfect for tasks such as removing splinters. Overall, I am happy with this purchase, especially for the price.

Good
You’re paying two dollars for this two-piece set. That’s a fair price. Here’s what you get, and my initial impressions of each piece:-One bandage scissors. Made in China. 4-1/4″ long overall with 1-3/8″ blades. They’re not for cutting clothes off; they’re for cutting bandages. The tips are rounded to get under bandages without injuring your patient. The handles are red plastic, and are a tad too small for my hands (I wear a size XL glove). The blades came sharp, but I’d recommend not using them on anything thicker or tougher than gauze pads. They’re riveted together, and I found the rivet is just right; not too loose and not too tight. These scissors are a good size for a small First Aid Kit, as I’ve found that even miniature bandage scissors are too big for my Maxpedition Micro pouch. These fit it just fine. Well done.-One tweezer. The photo shows a set of blue plastic tweezers, and I’m glad this doesn’t come with those. Instead, you get a much nicer set of stainless steel tweezers. They’re 3-1/2″ long with a 1/8″ wide slanted point so you can use it for fine work or getting a better grip. They open to 3/8″. Simple linear machining on the sides let you get a good grip on the tweezers without slipping. These work well for splinters or glass shards; much better than the plastic ones shown. So, a dollar a piece is good for these. There’s not a lot more to say. If you need small scissors and decent tweezers, this is for you.

It’s a Must Have
This is a quality set that doesn’t play games. You’ve got a capable pair of emergency tweezers with a tapered edge for removing splinters, ticks and so forth, along with bandage scissors that seem fairly sharp out of the box. These angled scissors open and close confidently, ensuring accurate cuts. To get both of these tools in one set is an incredible value. This should be your first purchase for every first aid kit or household medicine cabinet.

Exactly as described
Bought these to make a first aid kit for my son who needed one for college. They are a little on the smaller side, but perfect for our kit.

very sharp small scissors
This pair of scissors are perfect for what I need them for and the combo of the Forcep Tweezers is great. My Mother recently had surgery on her lip for a piece of plastic and three busted veins in her lip. At home, I had to cut and place galls and tape to that area. I like that the come in a plastic bag ready to use. For my small hand they are perfect. The tweezers do come in hand when trying to remove the tape from her skin. I do sanitize both before using them over and over again. Good price for both and worth wait for them.
