A very portable external USB DVD/CD drive. Plug and Play – it’s that simple!Great product for the price. Works well for old CDs that have old pictures and documents or just watching DVD movies. Its size makes it easy to pack up and travel, and plug in and have it sit on top of your desktop or nearby. The disk trey, like all disk treys, feels a little flimsily but it is solid – just don’t mistake it for a cup holder!Runs fairly quiet and fast. Overall, a good external DVD/CD drive and does exactly what it is supposed to do!Now a days, most PC’s don’t come with a DVD/CD drive built in, this is a great option!

Great Little Addition!
This worked seamlessly with my computer for adding programs for which I already had disks. It was easy to use. Simply plug in and load the programs. I really don’t understand why some people had problems with this, but it worked great on with my new Windows 11 computer!!!

Bought a new computer last year and the Microsoft suite FREE subscription ran out. Pulled out my 2010 Microsoft office professional software CD…loaded right up. The $20 spent on this maybe only one time use external drive was much cheaper than new software.

Broke After Third Use
Worked twice and then quit on me! I had three CDs of photos to upload to my Mac. After uploading the first two with no issue, the third disc went in, and the player is absolutely nonfunctional. Just sounds like it is sitting and spinning endlessly. Have been troubleshooting for hours with no success!

A Nice Drive At an Unbeatable Price
With computers no longer shipping with a built-in optical drive, even if we don’t do a lot with CDs or DVDs these days, having a drive to use your older media is still important. Not paying a lot for a drive you probably won’t use every day as you once did is probably just as important. This drive fits the bill. While I have not yet tried to write any media with it, it reads my media just fine. Moreover, I really like its system for storing both the USB connecting cable and the USB-C adapter. They store conveniently in the bottom of the drive, making this a very portable option that will travel well without any danger of snagging your USB cable. The cable is hard-wired in and not removable, so having this convenient way to safely store the cable is kind of a must. This drive also had no trouble connecting to my computer, nor did my computer seem to have any problems powering it.I did connect it to my MacBook Air (the one M1 one), and the only trouble I had was getting the Mac to actually mount the MP3 CD I was wanting to play. This was, however, not the drive’s fault, but rather that the disc was formatted in an old format that the newer MacOS didn’t recognize properly. Google to the rescue, and I got around that and was able to successfully read my MP3 CD.
