A bit expensive, but Exergen is such a reliable brand. Makes it so much easier to check temperatures of sick without waking.

Just get this one
I’ve gone through 2 or 3 contact thermometers and they were all too inconsistent to be trusted. Exergens are used in hospitals, (not this exact model, but the step up) so there’s a degree of brand trust you can most likely count on. It’s been really accurate so far.

Does not work, temperature varies 2 degrees on same head
This product does not give an accurate temperature. I checked if I had a fever, and it told me my temperature was 100.3. Tried again seconds later, and it was 98.3. This happened repeatedly, where multiple measurements gave completely different results.Useless product, but I didn’t need to try it until after the return window, so I’m stuck with it.
