I polish aluminum. If you know anything about it then you know how dirty you get. Now I don’t breathe the air and I can see at the same time. Buy with confidence it works perfect.

An actual review, insights, and useful tips
This mask fits okay, but I can’t get a perfect seal on my face. Attempting to cinch the straps tight enough for a perfect seal causes the straps to disconnect. See pictures.I think the design is supposed to be a safety feature, to ensure the mask would break away of it was pulled or became entangled by something.This also means if someone was to grab the front of your mask and pull, it is coming right off… this is not military grade or law enforcement grade. I finally found a pre-adjustmemt for the top straps, allowing me to only loosen and tighten the bottom straps and I can achieve a good seal.Like most respirator masks and military gas masks, this mask has an unfiltered exhalation valve. This is a one way “flutter” valve. It lets air out when you exhale, but it is sucked closed when you inhale. If it didn’t work this way you would suffocate on your own CO2.This mask does accept 3m “bayonet” fitting filters and cartridges.The mold casting is pretty good. Not perfect, but adequately serviceable for the price. I dont know what material it is cast from, it doesnt have the same feel as the silicone used in a military gas mask, so there is really no telling the longevity of the mask in dry storage, temperature tolerance, resistance to chemicals, UV, contact with petro-chemical plastics, etc.There is no manual. I’d recommend storing in a cool dark place in a water resistant breathable bag with moisture absorbers (not included).The non-woven polypropylene bag the mask comes packaged in will not fit the mask with filters attached. It’s probably best to keep it stored with filters not installed, and dont open your filter package until you are ready to use the mask.It includes two Chinese-no-brand organic vapor cartridges labled 6001CN, and several N95 pre- filters. These filters are used in conjunction with the cartridge, they cannot be used without the cartridge.The large clear face plate provides good viewing.It’s a good package for 50 bucks. I’d recommend using 3m cartridges to be absolutely certain of the level of protection you’re getting.

Do not pull too hard
I started wearing this for few days and the end of one of the straps has already broken off. The straps could have been cloth do to the fact people have to wear these more than once. It snapped off like a poorly constructed acrylic nail. Now I have to find a way to make straps so when they all start snapping off I have a backup plan. Ridiculous to think that no one in the company said the straps would break when they thought of the pros and cons. Go back to the drawing board and when you find a better way to strap these to people’s faces then you’ll have the leg up on the competition. Other than that I wear this when I step out my front door and go anywhere since I have Multiple Chemical Sensitivities and it keeps me from having asthma attacks. I don’t choke when I go out anymore which I love, yet wearing the mask gets uncomfortable and I have to get use to breathing in it. It could be cheaper since the straps break in matter of days and sometimes the eye shield will fog up before I put on or when I’m trying to put it on. Overall it’s ok, it could be better.

Really saved me and a great price
Fits so well, creates a great seal, and really saved me. Kept all the tear gas out of my eyes and kept most of it out of my lungs. It’ll buy you time if you’re trying to get away from the gas. It’s also hard to run away from those trying to attack you if you’re choking on tear gas. Also, with Oregon currently being on fire, this has really helped with that too. Keeps the ash out of my eyes and lungs.
