Very stable, eastpy quick assembly
Excellent product. I agree with positive reviews and want to address two issues in the negative reviews. First, the question of stability—on the first test after assembly, it did seem wobbly as if the floor were uneven. We loosened the fasteners and tightened them incrementally so that they were equally tight at the end. That took care of any perceived instability. It is now totally solid.Secondly, it is true that it is easy to stub a toe on the extended bottom when leaving the toilet to the left or right. My sense is that the structure is what gives it the stability and taking care to avoid the extended piece is worth it.

This is the 2nd toilet rails I bought. Using both for chairs rather than a toilet.Pros: Easy of assembly. Sturdy, heavy duty. Price is very reasonable.Cons: None.I bought the first one several years ago for my toilet and it worked great. Have knee problems, this allowed me to get up by using hands and arms to lift myself. I’ve moved since and the rails system did not fit in my current bathroom, a bit too wide, zo it was stored in my basement for a while.I have a cafe table and armless chairs in a sun porch and used the rail system on the chairs to help me getting up, worked perfectly, will eventually have to paint the white tubing a darker color though. Of course I then wanted to have the rail system for both chairs so another was bought.After looking through Amazon’s site for hand rails for armless chairs, these were absolutely the best I found, even though they are listed for toilets, they work perfectly for armless dining room chairs.

Not wobbly!
Wow, this was a very calculated purchase with so many options to choose from. I was mainly concerned with sturdiness and this one was the right pick! I measured appropriately before ordering thinking it still might fit a bit tight in our bathroom but it’s perfect! It sits right under the toilet paper holder on the wall, the legs don’t stick too far out from under the toilet, minimizing tripping over them, and the sturdiness is incredible. Made of durable metal, super easy to assemble and looks great in our bathroom and not bulky. Therefore others won’t have any issues using the toilet. It’s lightweight enough to move but heavy enough to hold a person of good weight. Magazine rack is a win! I can put my dads diapers in there for easy access. It also fits over my toilet that has a bidet installed on it without obstruction. Unbelievable! Cuz I sure did not want to remove it. Also, another plus is that it does not tip if leaned on one side. This useful if my dad needs to hold onto it to get to the sink. Amazing purchase and totally worth it! I highly recommend!

functionality
Went through a surgery. My toilet height was perfect but I needed a little support with sit/stands. This was very sturdy/not tippy. My family member stated it was easy to put together. It is a little wide so you do need to check measurements for your space. Also, it does not adjust in height. I am 5’4″, so it was perfect for me. There are products out there that look more like a walker and are adjustable, serving the same purpose. So if you are taller, you may need something more along those lines. I am 100% satisfied with my purchase.

Excellent, but be sure to measure your space first
I just received this a few days ago, and so far, I’m very pleased. It was easy to put together (without any tools required), and seems to be very sturdy and solidly based.If you’re considering purchasing this item, and if you have a small bathroom, be sure to measure your available space. Because of the configuration of the thumb screws, they will add an extra inch or so to the width. Mine, including the thumb screws measures 28 inches across the width. That’s without the magazine rack.Because my bathroom contains a corner shower, I had to move the entire unit as far to the right as it would go. This worked out okay, but just barely, since with a bit of maneuvering, it just cleared the toilet paper holder, but this allows me to be able to open the shower door, which wouldn’t work if I had it centered. I also had to hang the magazine rack on the inside of the left side handrail, rather than the outside, but that works too. I really wasn’t too concerned about a magazine rack, as I was safety and convenience.I had previously purchased handrails that had to be attached to the seat, via the mounting holes for the seat. They also just sat with the ends under the seat, and tended to shift on occasion. While they were helpful, I never could get them to sit just right, and so, gave up on them.I must say that this has made my life so much easier. If my bathroom was configured so that I could grab onto something, I wouldn’t have a problem, but because the toilet is one of those old low to the ground things, I found getting up almost impossible, and every time I did, I would hurt my right knee (probably arthritis in that knee). Now I can get up and down with relative ease, and not worry about hurting myself, or falling.I highly recommend this for anyone with mobility problems, and for the elderly, who might need some assistance, but are independent and just need a bit of extra help.

this product is wonderfully strong and stable. my daughter found it easy to assemble which took her no time at all.i i found the fact that it helps me feel safe and secure is worth the cost. it easily could be more expensive. why settle for a wobbly one when you could get a sturdy one for a few more measly dollars.the rubber handles are in the perfect position. it also fits the space from the toilet. It would be reprehensible of me to not point out that my toilet is immediately to the right of the entry so you can actually trip and possibly fall as the stability bars stick out maybe 5 inches. if your toilet isn’t the path of walking and you have a large bathroom you might be okay. so give it consideration before you choose this or any other toilet aid

For health reasons I was more than a little unsafe getting down (and worse) trying to stand from the toilet. The Occupational Therapist recommended a commode unit but it just wasn’t comfortable. The OT then pointed out this unit on Amazon just for my thoughts. After thinking about it I placed an order. It was so easy to assemble and is just great.The only, and very minor, issue is that with the width of the safety rail the jumbo toilet rolls won’t fit in the holder. An easy fix as the rail came with a magazine rack and the roll will sit on the top!
