Exactly what I wanted
I saw these and was excited at the price. Reviews all looked great. They fit perfectly. I got a size 8. Sometimes 8s tend to look big on me, like clown shoes. But these look amazing. Can’t wait to try them out with my board. Laces are thick, so if you don’t like that, replace them. I don’t ever tie my laces so it doesn’t bother me. Feel like normal Dcs or etnies. Love the thick corduroy tounge.

Sizing is off
These were only 12$ and if they’d been true to size, they’d have been great. Order at least a full size up. Luckily for me my kid can fit in them.

shoes are pretty good; laces are terrible
ya know how when you put your feet in your sneakers, then tug on the laces to get them snug? these don’t do that. you have to pull each segment of the laces up, one at a time. and because the laces are roughly the size of my wrist (OK…probably my pinky finger), there’s just not a lot of wiggle room to get your fingers in and tug. once they are laced up, you have thiiiiis much room to tie the world’s smallest bow. the first time I went through this, I accidentally got the laces so tight, I lost feeling in my foot after 20 minutes.the shoes themselves are quite comfortable. they’re wide so I feel like my ankle is supported and won’t roll around. I have very weak ankles and they tend to roll back and forth while I walk, so it’s nice to feel solid support.overall, I think these shoes are worth buying. just get a new set of laces when you purchase because the laces that come with the shoes need to be buried in a shallow grave.
